It is stated that only he and Storm have the strength of spirit to survive holding the essense of Eternity. Storm is the one who gets chosen and Eternity's essense is transferred into her body.

*scracthes his head* Talisman of Alpha Flight did the exact same thing, so I don't agree with the only two comment part. Regardless still an excellent feat for Storm, just don't agree with saying only they could do it.

Eternity is dying and Storm holds its essence while Strange , along with the others are trying to save it . It's stated that only her and Dr Strange have the strength of spirit to survive that :

Only she and Stephen were strong enough.

Surfer was present.

She held an abstract being's essence even in her "unevolved" state.

Storm is RIDICULOUSLY powerful.

I think he was talking about the only two there. This might also have to do with their mystical backgrounds.

You know they try to devalue Storm because she's black.

She does have scoreceress Supreme DNA running through her veins.

This just further confirms it.

I think her powers are based on the Mystical and not just a gnetic mutation which makes her all the more interesting.

You know, like when she harnessed the core, she said bright stars and LIVING worlds.

It's very metaphysical.

That's why I find her so interesting.

To a degree yes, she absorbed an entire universe into her head.

After reviewing the scans I think Dr.Strange was talking about people THERE who could do it. Not the entire universe, actually I'm almost positive. This isn't bashing Storm in anyway as it's still a HUGE feat, and you guys know I don't have a beef with you.
