I wondered about this also. It had to be around the time of the Android Saga with Vegeta being a SS1.

No, you're thinking of "Cooler Returns"

Vegeta wasn't in "Cooler's Revenge"

Anime is cool in the vs. forum now?

Anything is allowed now, and it's a mess.

Yeah my bad. Cooler's Revenge was the 1st 1.

Gohan wasn't stronger than the Super Buu that is referenced in this thread.

Uhhh...

Fine.

Thanos > Superman > Vegetto > Super Buu (after absorbing Gohan) > Gohan > Super Buu > Kid Buu > Goku.

Pleased?

Jea! I'm a DBZ stickler I'm afraid.

Superman>Vegetto?

No. Just No.

Kid Buu finally blew up planet Earth.

Freeza in his nail had enough energy to easily destroy a planet.
Super Buu is probably about 20 times more powerful than Freeza.
Super Buu energy should definitely go above Thanos.

Super Buu is also much faster than Thanos.

I think Super Buu should own him.

Thnos is a bad a** and is one of the most powerful beings

No, not really. He is a bad ass, but is not one of the most powerful in MU.

What has Vegetto done to put him above Superman?

Casually Beat up/Stronger a universe destroyer!!!!

Since when did Buu destroy a universe?

In Episode 271!! The Dimension was being "Shattered!"

There was no evidence it was happening on a universal scale.

So wait, if someone uses a certain body part to fire an attack, that means they are using the energy only from that body part, and not taking it from anywhere else in their bodies?

Besides, the only time we see Frieza destroy a planet in the canon manga, it was Namek, and he wasn't able to destroy it right away and had to use a chain reaction.

Pulling numbers out of your ass is not a legitimate debate tactic.

Super Buu energy should definitely go above Thanos.

Really, because he was fighting all - out on a planet and only caused a few craters in one area, while Thanos (Pre - Death) and Drax destroyed a planet just by fighting on it. Using your own logic against you, Thanos easily defeated an enhanced Champion (who was destroying planets and causing Surfer trouble) with one finger. Thanos fought Odin, Tyrant, and Galactus, shook the universe, repeatedly owned classic Drax who had the power to destroy stars with his bare hands (as a comparison, the power to destroy the sun is around 9 orders of magnitude greater than the power required to destroy the Earth)....

Super Buu is also much faster than Thanos.

Maybe in flight speed, but Thanos tags people like Surfer, Mar-Vell, Eros, Ganymede, Jack of Hearts, and others all the time proving his reaction speed is amazing.

I think Super Buu should own him.

I think you're wrong.

No, not really. He is a bad ass, but is not one of the most powerful in MU.

Not compared to the overall cosmic heirarchy, but he has more than enough power to win this fight.

You mean a guy who was erroneously claimed to be a universe destroyer, via a chain reaction that had nothing to do with his brute strength, in a filler episode that was not canon.

Don't worry about him. He's someone who's gullible enough to believe when people trash talk.

Ah, non canon filler, but even there, no universe was destroyed.

The sky turned green and there was some lightning.

You call that destroying a universe, but you call Surtur's canon feats of destroying a galaxy (and people confirming it was gone), Odin fighting on multiple planes of existence (and people all over the universe confirming it) hyperbole.

You're a joke.

No, the universe was being shattered it shows it. "Canon" is a fanbase word. What is "canon" is only up to the Author, you have only an OPINION.
