The Punisher 2 Update

Just watched it. As a Punisher fan one couldn't have expected more from the film. Stevenson was superb as the Punisher, just the right amount of tall dark and menacing. Hilarious moments during the movie. Detective soap was cool too. Good very underrated comic-book movie. Really hope a second is on the way.

Forget it. They've had three tries to make a Punisher movie, and all have failed with critics & mainstream audiences. DVD sales only go so far - it's not financially viable to do the Punisher on the big screen. Marvel should go another way - say, a Punisher series for cable, so they don't have to tone down the violence that much. I think a TV series would be the way to dig deeper into his character, for the non-fans.

I don't care one bit about the needs of the non-fans. 😉

Because they getting fck wads to write and direct the movie. Punisher is a very simple plot that we all seen a million times, but the poofters keep messing it up.

I don't even think it came out in the UK. None of the cinemas near me showed it at all. 🙁

I managed to see it last month when i was on the cruise ship.

"Punisher: War Zone" is easily one of my all time favorite action films now. It's just the perfect Punisher film. Anyone who hates it, I believe, just hate the genre, considering it pretty much has everything you'd want in a Punisher and action film.

I couldn't of said it better than you described it: It's just the perfect Punisher film.

I regret it so bad for not catching it in theatres. After I saw the Travolta "Punisher" I thought to myself that maybe a "Punisher" movie just can't be done cause of the downward pattern. The 1st one was ok, the second one sucked, so I skipped "Warzone" when it first came out, expecting it to be another flop and at most decent. But i didn't want even at least decent version. I wanted it to be kick-ass. Then I watched it at home and was floored, both fists up in the air like "YES!!"

lol.
