Michael J. Fox, OC (born June 9, 1961) is a Canadian-American actor, author, producer, advocate and voice-over artist. With a film and television career spanning from the 1970s to the present, Fox's roles have included Marty McFly from the Back to the Future trilogy (1985–1990); Alex P. Keaton from Family Ties (1982–1989), for which he won three Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award; and Mike Flaherty from Spin City (1996–2000), for which he won an Emmy, three Golden Globes, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Fox was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease in 1991, and disclosed his condition to the public in 1998. Fox semi-retired from acting in 2000 as the symptoms of his disease worsened. He has since become an advocate for research toward finding a cure. This led him to create the Michael J. Fox Foundation, and on March 5, 2010, Sweden's Karolinska Institutet gave him a honoris causa doctorate.[1]

In recent years, he has guest-starred on various television shows, and appeared as himself in a prime-time special Michael J. Fox: Adventures of an Incurable Optimist (A Personal Journey of Hope) in May 2009. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2010.

It's a central nervous disorder that messes up your motor functions and speech. It causes fits of uncontrollable bodily shaking and slurred speech due to lack of control of your mouth.

Have you seen Muhammad Ali lately? It's sad to see him like that considering what he used to be. Also, unlike MJF (who hams it up when he's in public), Ali actually has a pretty severe case.

Yeah, it is heartbreaking. That's an enormous price to pay for a boxing career. Especially when you look at the film and see how sharp he was in his prime both physically and mentally. Those battles took a heavy toll.

Each of them have the power to end the universe, and theoretically Time and Space do not exist without them since Time began to move forward when Dialga was born, and the same said for Space and Palkia.
