What? When freiza blew up planet vegeta is what we are talking about.I think.Right creshosk?
Yup.

Freiza is never shown destroying Planet Vegeta in the manga if I understand correctly, so Frieza's only showing of breaking a planet in canon is Namek, and it was slow.

ANime is canon. There are some fillers but not all of them are non-canon.

The reason filler isn't canon is because it's just filler between things that come directly from the manga. O-o The scene where Frieza blows up Vegeta was never done by Toriyama.

Well isn't what akira does canon either?

Wonder Woman had the showings before McDuffie came along.

This is the guy that booted Hal and Wally out of the League too. It wasn't just Superman and Batman that lost focus.

So what he did was ok, even though he wrote Superman poorly?

Blue was physically weaker than current Superman, though.

I know but Wonder Woman was also shown as a back stander... she wasnt relied upon but during the time Mcduffie starred her as being one of the most powerful on the JLA she has taken on Amazo better than anyone on the JLA and she has soloed Konvikt, etc...

Superman is still getting spot light, he was the center of attention when a second moon was created that was going to destroy earth and I disagree with Superman being written poorly. I think he is writing everyone where they should be at.

What makes you think Blue was weaker? Is it because of his showing against the Doomsday that was created by Myxy because if soooo, I wouldnt base it off of that.

The anime is a separate canon due to filler events that did not occur in the manga.

Sort of like a what if, or aoa or ultimates.

It's not as bad as the dissonance found between other series anime and their respective manga, like Sailor Moon or Negima for examples.

Well i'm confused(which is common)

Is the freiza blowing vegeta canon or not?

Well, if they coutn as seperate canons, it's canon to anime, if it's not, which is the view I personally hold, then nah. I'm just one d00d, though.

Oi vey...I thought we were talking about freiza blowing up planet vegeta.

The planet vegeta scene never made sense anyway, imho. In his first form withminimal effort, b00m, but in his final form he can only wound Namek?

The anime is just as canon as the manga, it is just certain things in the anime that you cant use as evidence, filler.

I haven't watched the freiza saga in years so I forget how it played out.But I know when he destroyed vegeta he had to charge up a blast for about a minute.

He explained it, he used ALL of his power to free himself from the spirit bomb. He didnt have the energy to destroy a planet and after the spirit bomb he lost more energy after the beating he received from Goku as a Super Saiyan.

He didnt charge up a blast, he attacked as soon as bardock attacked. He was just waiting. As soon as bardock shot his blast that is when he made his attack bigger and shot back.
