Because... wait for it...COMICS ARE NOT MANGA!
It's the one constant, fundamental difference between Manga and Comics. Comics have always been about collateral damage, hard hits and explosions... all things used to stress the amount of danger the innocent's are in. Manga typically focuses on head-to-head battles that involve one character trying to out perform another.
Manga fights hardly ever involve the general public in the same fashion as Comics, the inverse is true for Comic fights. If comic fights were done in the same manner of Manga fights, it would be counterproductive to the very nature of "Heroes saving the day".
Ok, so since we have Captain Marvel and Superman battling each other with Batman sitting on the other side looking at the battle, even AIDING Superman against Captain Marvel, we still have to assume that they are fighting at Super Speed.
Then we have Superman and Adam fighting while people are actually walking out of buildings looking at the fight but we are suppose to assume that Adam and Superman are fighting at Super Speed.
Then we have Superman taking on kryptonians while some of the other JLA members are watching but yet again, we are suppose to assume that they are fighting at high speeds.
So tell me, what is it in these scenes that make us realize that they are fighting at high speeds. Is it a person in the back ground scream "hey, look at the speed line that is near invisible, that is how you can tell". Please tell me how I would know because your post isnt making any sense.
First you went from "if Superman fought at high speeds in every fight, the comic wouldnt even last that long" to "Superman is fighting at high speeds, you cant tell but he is though".
Help a brother out here.
