Ironically, if we let the DBZ supporters have their way it would also mean that Goku, Frieza, etc. couldn't be used in battles against characters like Superman, Thor, and Silver Surfer due to the tier disparity (DBZ characters being way too high up), which would pretty much render them useless and kill the "Goku Vs. Supes/Thor/Etc" flame wars before they start...
A diabolical man would let them have their way and kill two birds with one stone.
There comes a point in a Man's life where he must swallow his pride and choose the lesser of two evils...
We can let them put the DBZ characters up above the top Herald tier where they will not be able to be used in a majority of vs. threads (as they unwittingly appear to want), or we can keep arguing these points and filling this thread up with circular arguments, beef, Pig's Superman wanking, and then Bada comes in and issues warnings to everyone.
Or something far, far, far worse:
Rex shows up.
We can compromise and kill it, or allow the debate to reach it's seemingly apocalyptic end.
The choice is yours.

Oh, and please go find the scan of when Freeza blows up Vegeta in the manga to show me exactly how he did so. You won't be able to. It doesn't exist. Please, no anime either.
Do you mean Freiza blowing up planet Vegeta?Or Buu blowing up the earth, and several other planets with a single move?
Buu can also regenerate after planetary scale explosions that obliterates entire planets to dust.
Buu can also teleport to anywhere of his choosing.
You're just showing your incredible bias here. Goku's mastery of martial arts is impressive compared to anyone.
Massive combat speed - when has Superman shown to fight at speeds that SSJ Goku fights at?
Btw, Piccolo mentioned that Raditz was able to move at the speed of light.
Yeah, blasts which Goku and Vegeta could do absolutely nothing to stop, and would have killed them if they were in the blast. Buu survived only due to regeneration. Superman has survived worse than a planet exploding.
Teleporting to anywhere he wants is a neat trick, but in the manga, it was only used offensively once, and it was not quickly.
2. Bias? DBZ is my favorite anime ever. Show me Goku's mastery of martial arts being signifigantly impressive in DC standards. Goku does not best his opponents with skill, it is with power.
And... How fast does SSJ Goku fight? You can't tell me anything more signifigant than a bunch of machs, which is nice, but Superman has reaction feats trumping anything Goku has that is even remotely quantifiable.
Please refrain from using mistranslated anime statements.

Low Meta is a decent placement for him, but he does not have the versatility or raw power to get higher than that.
No he isn't.Sion is not a joke in any sense of the word."Sion went on a spree of Jedi assassination. He was killed a number of times over the course of it, but he continued to rise again and slaughter many Jedi in return. By the end of Sion's campaign, the Jedi were almost entirely extinct. In 3,954 BBY, Sion and Nihilus united the majority of the Sith Empire remnants, becoming the most unified force of Sith in their time."
Strait from his bio. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_Sion
Going all out yes.I agree.
Yes because superman would know he can only sustain it for a short time...
Punches that are able to shatter miles of land...i'd say that could bust a mountain.
Doesn't change the fact that they can easily bust planets. And he could just IT to another planet.
Actually yes he is.I'd almost put him in the cap/black panther category when it comes to MA.He was trained when he was 9 and competed in tons of martial arts tournaments winning most.
Compared to an all out superman not much. But like I said CIS on they have combat speed on par or faster then him as superman is an idiot and doesn't use speed that much.
Not entirely sure how an after image works but I think it makes him think hes hitting you.Could be effective.
2. If you believe Superman going all out could kill Goku accidently (AKA easily) then why do you think they are in the same level of power...?
I was illustrating a point, that Superman is much faster than Goku.
Yeah... When has he busted miles of land with a straight punch? I know Freeza and Goku were knocking eachother and destroying islands by crashing through them, but that is not destroying a mountain or even miles of land with a punch.
But busting planets is a feat even some Low Heralds can accomplish, if I recall right Terrax has cut planets in half, he is a Low Herald last I checked. One good ability, power output, does not make up for their failings in other areas.
... No. Even in Dragonball, fights were won with power. Once you get to a certain point in power, skill does not mean much.
Why would Superman hold back his speed against a fast opponent? "Gee this gai is moving pretty fast but I can go faster, I'm gonna fight him slowly."
After-images are just moving fast enough that you leave behind an image of yourself after moving, would not fool Superman's senses.

Oh, and one more thing on DBZ before I'm done-done:I already gave the Executive Order that Manga and Anime versions of DBZ characters are mutually exclusive. Anime feats apply to the anime only with everything from the Original DragonBall through Dragon Ball GT being canon for the animated version of the character.
Manga Goku is considered a different version of the character for the intents of cross genre debates.
Why?
Manga Goku is not a "different version," he's the canon version, aka the one that counts. Anime Goku is just manga Goku with more crap tagged on, and makes the series even more inconsistent than it once was. Anime Goku had trouble lifting a bus if I recall right, and had Krillin injuring SSJ Goku with a pebble. It's inconsistent to a fault, manga should be the only version used.
Also, in regards to the thing about giving them what they want, which I just now saw, NEVER.
INTERNET DEBATING IS SERIOUS BUSINESS!!!

How fast can Superman FIGHT, not fly but fight. Once you give your answer, show proof?
