You said that nothing can touch the Kyuubi.

The wood from Hashirama did, it grappled with it.

While it is true that Hashirama can control the Kyuubi, the Wood Jutsu itself is just that, wood.

Nothing else can touch it due to it's destructive chakra. The reason The First's wood technique was effective is because he can suppress the Tailed beasts. Without that suppression ability, the wood gets destroyed like any other attack. Why do you think sealing it was the only option? Don't you think, if phyisical or energy based attacka worked on the Kyuubi, one of the strongest ninja in the entire series would have been able to do it.

Also, Naruto kind of tossed it. 😐
What do you mean by that?

I'm sure that mean chakra is going to scare Superman off ...

who said anything about the Kyuubi beating Superman? Though it would be put up a decent fight and Superman definitely wouldn't win easily.

I said the Kyuubi should be high-herald, but upon closer inspection of the tier, i changed it to low-mid herald.

1. AND YET YOU HAVE YET TO ACTUALLY PROVE THAT STATEMENT.

O RLY? Can you prove this as well? Hashirama can control the Kyuubi, yeah, and that did play a factor in their fight, yeah, but the wood itself has no inherently awesome Kyuubi-repelling abilities.

Why? Well being gigantic and very powerful by the standards of the Naruto-verse might have SOMETHING to do with it, you know.

I mean Naruto grabbed the Kyuubi and flipped it like a whore.

Superman would floor the Kyuubi with a slap.

If you can't hang with Superman on any circumstances you have no business being a mid-herald.

You really can't use anything in the Naruto vs. Kyuubi fight as a justification for things. The fight is entirely symbolical and happening within his mind.

You don't actually read Naruto do you? If You did, you'd know that wasn't an actual fight, the entire thing was in Naruto's mind which is why it was a miniaturized version of the Kyuubi. The real Kyuubi cannot be touched due to it's aura... i don't know how many times you need me to say this.

Yet I have been crushing you with manga evidence this entire time.

Mini Kyuubi? The Kyuubi is not that big. 😐

Look at the scan I posted.

Then look at Madara right above it.

Yeah, it is not really all that big.

It was basically a battle of Naruto's chakra versus Kyuubi's, right?

Is Naruto's chakra just so amazingly awesome that the disintegrating power of the Kyuubi's cannot affect t?

You. Have. Yet. To. Prove. It.

The Kyuubi itself has no aura like the one Naruto has, for the record, theoretically it could produce one, but it has yet to.

Also, with the chakra shield on, Orochimaru jacked it in the jaw. With very minor damage done to his hand, if at all. 😐

facepalm

lulz @ the Kyuubi not being big.

It wasn't chakra vs. chakra, it was basically a battle of wills inside his head. I'm done discussing this with someone who isn't even familiar with the material. You win.

Me? Dude, i already conceded that argument due to there not being any actual onscreen proof that he can do it.

What's nonsense about what i wrote in this thread?

You telling someone who CLEARLY knows what he's talking about in regards to the manga that he "doesn't read" when you yourself seem to have only watched the Anime.

The guy already stated he doesn't read or watch Naruto. All he's done is pull scans from google and misinterpret them. He's gotten various facts wrong (the funniest being that the Kyuubi is human sized in actuality) and CLEARLY does not know what he's talking about.

If you think he's correct, you obviously don't read or watch Naruto either.

I don't know what the argument is but no character in Naruto in Mid-Herald level with maybe the exception being the Sage of the Six Paths.

To be a Mid Herald you must feasibly be able to destroy a planet under your own power, though not necessarily in one stroke, I think one of the many marks of a true High Herald is the capacity to one-shot or two-shot a planet-sized object.

Time out. May i ask, what exactly qualifies you for low-mid herald? I made my nomination based on the people who are already in that tier, but apparently, I'm lacking some vital info... please enlighten me.

The basic requirement is that the character is able to compete with characters in that tier in general.

So if you think your character is able to beat half the people on the list or even many on the list chances are that character is a good bet to be on that tier.

Where is this coming from?

There are plenty of comic low heralds that can destroy a planet under their own power.

IMO, mid heralds are typically (but not always) characterized by both possessing that level of power as well as either uber versatility (for which their high power level applies, perhaps being able to destroy planets in a variety of ways), or a stellar track record and status level, or having an unusual attribute that just naturally puts them above low heralds, such as Juggernaut's near-indestructibility.

I have known Nemebro for many years as well as outside this forum and can attest to the fact that he's read damn near every chapter of Naruto.

So, no. He may not be correct and may misinterpret things but don't accuse him of ignorance. Plus, ad hominem weakens your credibility, don't use it.
