Part of being a parent is constantly having someone who relies on you, even when they're an adult, they will still come back to you because you're their dad.
See thats where you two obviously had a partnership, one always has to be the stronger of the two and if she never made it seem like a chore then you obviously gelled well together.
Influencing her even sub conciously will be hard to avoid but as you're aware of it and will be actively looking to stop yourself from doing it then that shows how much she means to you.
Seems to me my friend that your minds made up and you want to be with her, you're just weighing up how you will deal with the baby once he or she has arrived.
The best thing you can do right now is support her whatever way you can, let her know you are there for her with no pressure and whatever she decides to do you will back her all the way.

you're out of line... that woman is everything to me, and everything i did i did because i love her, not because i felt i had too... what i'm saying is that she NEVER made it feel like a chore, even the hard stuff... every little thing i did to make her happy, she made sure to let me know that it was appreciated, even the little things that most people wouldnt notice...

You misunderstand what Imeant by partnership and gelling well together, you can love someone and cross swords with them daily and not do those little things the fact that you did, shows that you were a good match for each other.
I think you will be able to give her your support in whatever she does, right now its a shock to your system, something you need to get straight in your own head, hence why you asked here.
Once you have taken it in and spoken to her about it properly, things will be a lot clearer and you will start to make headway.
