The funniest view over Emma's powerset I've seen in a while.
I know that, I was abouit the whole "solid telepathy" thing. The weirdest interpretation of Emma's ability to blast raw psionic energy in form of semi-TK blasts.
Though if we extrapolate that on ability of Emma to create hologram-like mental projection (see the latest addition in Emma's RT) that scenario is plausible but there's still much stretching.

Yeah, I was just making coversation 😎
Same thing happened in an x-men pilot episode, written by Stan Lee. She blasted her way out of a truck or something.
Her strongest blast of raw psionic energy was able to destroy a building, that's like semi-TK. King Kandy just extrapolated that ability to the level that the blasts were generated not by Emma itself but by mental projections she creates. Notice how his chosen "mind" character (War Mashine) has nothing to amplify Emma's ability.
The entire fight didn't happen as Entity's character didn't show up at the battlefield, so it was no reasons to partisipate as a judge of that fight. By the way, he could have beaten Entity's character even without using such wild tactics.
The whole illusions idea was nice but when he tried to present it as constructs which are able to cause active damage...that was just weird and something that's impossible from current Emma's showing (she's able to make semi-TK/psionic "electricity" blasts of raw psionic energy and is able to create mental projection which was seen as a hologram by people protected from direct TP intervention, but there's no plausible way how she can be able to make those projections shoot blasts of raw psionic energy, especially if it's her powerset granted to a person who has no telepathic skills whatsoever and nothing to upgrade Emma's powers).
So true. There shouldn't be a need to employ tactics like that when he already had a pretty decent offense that there wouldn't be a debate on.
What do you think about the finals? I think it should be a pretty clear win, as Blair Wind's powers are just so awesome. Spot powers alone gives him an instant win against most characters. It's almost like the judges refuse to vote for him, simply because he's already won the latest tourneys 🙂
Blair Wind's semifinal fight was too close, he was lucky to get to the finals I suppose. The whole nuke tactic was rather wild... seemed over the limit of spots' area. Leonidas was overall better to my taste.
As for Scoobless character, the fact about energy output of moonstone increasing with the character's height seems also a bit of extrapolation.

Blair Wind could've just moved a single nuke to Leonidas' character, that would've been plenty. He seemed to bite off more than he could chew :/
I think Blair's tactic in the finals is more than viable.

Extrapolations are the things which are likely to go out of hand in such duels, to tell you the truth. As a DM at one comics-related text RPG, I have an experience of judging such duels and know that sometimes people start grasping at straws.
Indeed.
Text based RPG, as in a forum RPG or something closer to DnD?
Blair made some mistakes as well. Centrifugal force ray was quite an useless thing against someone who has gravity manipulation powers and can block acceleration effect.
Spots to block major arterias at the early stages of the fight to give Scoobless' character a stroke was quite nice tactics to me and the only one which seemed to bear fruits with 100% effectivity, since Scoobless couner arguments were based purely on extrapolation (A phased through B, so phasing through portals is possible in general).

Forum RPG. The format of the fights is close to the one used in tournaments: participants write up their defences and offences and then DM judges them.
I've done quite a few of those. I'm actually working on a new character for this new board that a friend's starting up.
If you've ever roleplayed with someone going by Kris Blaze or Kid_Omega, that would be me 🙂
A project I'm mastering now allows no custom characters, but you can use a character from any franchize that has comics/western-styled manga made on it. Also you can use amalgam characters (mind of Batman in a body of Superman), provided that you give enough information on both of the characters.
DMs also participate as players (we have to obey common rules for players there, and characters we are use as PC are separated from NPC characters). Truly, if a characters of one of the mods engages in the fight, the fight should be judged by another mod.
As a player I'm considered quite a good one both in roleplaying skills and duelist's ones *one of the reasons I was promoted as a DM after one of the DMs from the founding team quit the project*.
Actually the amalgam of Emma Frost's mind using the body of female Green (in the version presented on KMC- White) Martian aka Queen of Diamonds was (and is) one of my characters from that project (I just wanted to see what happens if you combine Emma's creativity and Martians' "Swiss Knife" powerset). Other characters of mine (regular players are allowed to have 3 characters, the only privelege "DMs-players" have is that we're allowed to have 4 playable chracters instead of 3) are K', Black Mamba (Marvel character, a Darkforce manipulator from Serpent Society/B.A.D. Girls Inc.) and Jack Hawksmoor.
Another thing that allows players to be creative is that a player (provided it's a good player) can get his current character upgraded during the game by being granted extra items\powerups (be it secondary mutations, artefacts/mystical weaponry, further training of existing skills or abilities etc).
