Yeah, I suppose it's the only sport where Norwegians excel. Incidentally, I'm not your average Norwegian, and I hate skiing. However, I do love Psylocke 🙂
Skiing, biathlon and ski jumping. That's your nation's forte in sports.
By the way, llagroc

He CAN'T, that's is. Of course if you don't count teleportation move from Trickster style or time manipulation powers given via Qiucksilver or Chronoheart- which isn't really movement from point A to point B on lightspeeds. His top speed in human form(even with Alastor and Quickheart upgrades) is no greater than classic pre-isotope E Quicksilver or Surge from New X-Men (the later is more close analogue, given the nature of speedup provided by Alastor). There was just a dumb fanboy there (lionheartmm), who believed that Dante truly moves on light speed. Also he said that Dante can defeat Living Tribunal, basing that statement on twisted interpetation of SMT:Nocturne ending. Dante's greatest speed is even not truly subluminal, more like 1-2% of lightspeed, and that's speed of flight in his high demonic form (Sparda form) (see Dante's first fight with Mundus, DMC1 game).
i've honestly never seen anything bar the flight to suggest that dante moves at even quicksilver speed... though it has been a while since i played it...
Games vs comics matchups aren't that bad if made properly, pr1983...
but thats the thing, matches like the one you just mentioned are ridiculous... 😛

But if Superman flies high in the sky and doesn't know about Emma, and Emma on the other hand gets some desent equipment (she's quite adept at making electronic equipment that works with psionic powers, amplifying them or using psionic energy for different effects- her prep skills are underrated, so I'm not talking just about Cerebra)- it's possible for her to successfully hack Supes' mind...
even if he doesnt know about her:
a) he's kryptonian, there could be differences to his mind that someone like emma would take time to get the hang of...
b) his mind works alot faster than any human beings, so i don't know if she could even read his thoughts or if they would be a blur, or if her mind could even handle that kind of information overload...
if she can get past all that, then sure, she could do it...

people believing that cyclops was actually really trying when he fought storm for leadership back in the day... not PIS, just people's reaction to it...
civil war x-men had quite a bit...
oh, and evenin all... 😄

During X-man #70 or something, when he was fighting the alternate world's Jean Grey. There was a guy who was immune to mutant powers, meaning that they couldn't directly effect him. Somehow, X-man managed to lose to him in combat. THAT was pretty crappy writing. It's like if a slightly experienced GL lost to a guy in yellow clothing.
Apocalypses fight against Cable during the Twelve, the one that was written by Rob Liefeld.
And possibly when Iceman fought a mud-like mutant during Uncanny x-men. He just got his ass kicked and had to be rescued by Northstar, which was pretty lame, considering that he's tha motherfugging iceman 😄

Telepathy has worked pretty well on people who "think" fast, considering that it worked on Kid Omega and his mind works SO MUCH faster than Supermans. Or how Jean was able to shut down weapon 12 in new x-men, who had many thousand minds trying to working around her telepathy.
Kryptonian mind works very similar to the human mind. Moondragon had no problems getting into and understanding Annihilus mind even thought it was COMPLETELY different than the human mind. To quote Thanos "it really does buzz"

Yes, some of them are ridiculous mismatches...full of bias statements like "Wolverine solos Mortal Combat universe because he's Wolverine". I've posted the cutscene with Alastor...and as for other movement\reaction speed feats of Dante....Riding the rocket from rocket launcher like a surfboard, slicing bullets in midair, deflecting raindrops with his sword, running at speeds that air seems to be burning around him and other stuff (like his Sky Star move in Trickster style- a speedup in midair)...his speed in human form seems to be Surge's level.

surge as in new x-men surge?
As for Superman's "weird mind"...that doesn't seems too much a problem. Emma has affected non-human minds with her TP (her TP worked on amimals etc). Speed of thought shouldn't be that much of a problem also...since the thing isn't to get information from his mind. Also Emma is a "billion class" telepath nowadays (worked with Rogue's mind containing 8 billion minds), so overload isn't going to happen.

but an animal's brain isn't as developed as a human beings, a kryptonian's is MORE evolved than a humans, so would naturally be more complicated...

but to affect his mind she'd have to read it to find what to hit... if she just dumb-fires psionic blasts they arent really going to do much more than slow him down a little...

Yes. I'm talking about his speed with Alastor's speed upgrade (shown in the cutscene I've posted)- it works in pretty much the same way as Surge's power- electricity-related bursts of speed.
yeah, i have dialup, so ima take your word for it... 😄

Subconsciousness and conscious thinking are two different things, though...But it would be really hard for her to do that, that's true.
Surge's level of speed seems to be quite fair for Dante in human form, going by his movement\reaction speed feats...
