Circe was powerful enough to bewitch all of the gods. She Was able to keep out every hero on earth with her shields in amazons attacks. She was able to strip the enchantments of the Gods from WW, Cassie, and Donna. And even herc if I remember. Circe is certainly a challenge to ANY magical user.

The Great Beasts are older then the Greek Gods, their older then the Earth itself. Heck their from a time before right and wrong and their the Elder Gods of the Night and are responsible for mankind fearing the darkness and cold. Their also the personification of death on Earth when it was first commencing alive.
Not against a being who defeated Llan who is easily above Circe and who can call over 20,000 years of magical experience. Talisman has even absorbed an entire universe inside her head in a matter of seconds. Even Dr.Strange has called Talisman "a primal force of nature" and when Elizibeth first gained her powers she was cancelling out Loki's powerful Fire Fountain spell like nothing.
