As I said, Circe has controlled skyfathers. And batman shorted her out with a spell from zatanna. A novice, taught a spell indirectly from zatanna. I'm guessing they aren't that far apart. Id wager talisman isn't the equal of PIS strange.

ZATANNA: Hey, whatcha got in the pouch?

TALISMAN: You wanna see?

ZATANNA: Sure...

TALISMAN: (Opening pouch) Check it out...

She manipulated them, big difference. Here Talisman even before she knew she was the Talisman or getting the Talisman of power is taking on the Elder God Ranaq which took what seemed to be a universe popping attack to stop him.

Considering the Talisman 20,000 years ago and 10,000 years ago beat Llan a being that punked Strange twice I wouldn't agree with that

No where did I state that or claimed it. I even said they were equals earlier as noted in the comics so don't TRY to discredit me.

The Talisman 20,000 years ago maybe as she took on Llan directly and put the curse on him in the first place but we havn't seen much from her so I can't say. Current Talisman is not above Strange, their equals

That's fine just miscommunication, but as on-panel feats go she still has vastly superiors ones then Zatanna. I know them all, as I'm more of a DC reader then Marvel.

Which is why I'm not on this board much anymore as the DC hate is driving me bonkers.

it is a lot of DC hating. It's getting serious too. It's one reason why I argue so hard for DC characters. And it pains me to give a marvel character a win becuz of all the DC hating. Now Zatanna does have an uber feat. soemthing about a disease that was goign to destroy the universe. What was that all about?

Well I have backed you up on several points showing you were telling the truth when they said you lied. I tend to stay away as no way are you going to convince them otherwise so basically your going to go in circles.

Oh she definetly has uber feats, no way am I saying she doesn't just Talisman rountine battles skyfathers and I guess Llan was an abstract but wasn't properly defined. Honestly don't recall of the top of head but it might have been during the Satellite years

Well thanks for the back up. Honestly I just picked talisman cuz she seemed uber. marvel doesn't have many mages. And to my knowlege Zatanna is the 2nd most powerful mage on DC earth. and talisman seemed like a good match. didn't pick doom cuz he's too smart.

I can't speak for the others on the forums, but in my case it's not so much a matter of hating against DC as it is my being much more familiar with Marvel characters. I never was a big DC reader, so I tend to underestimate many of the DCU characters.

When a thread comes up that you dont' know much about a character, look in the respect thread and get a general Idea. if no respec thread exist, you can ask me. If you dont' believe me, then confirm it with Jun or galan or king mungi.

Errrr? in regards to magic Talisman surpasses Doom quite easily and she also is prophetic seeing into the future so his intelligence won't mean much. Also the Talisman of power actually feeds her information which is from the Gods.

I try to do just that. I also try to look up character bios if I plan on trying to participate in the debate. I know there is some question as to the accuracy of many bios, but some info is better than none.

I will say that, despite iffy canonicity, watching the DCAU shows has given me better perspective on a number of characters.

That's also why I have a lot of respect for debaters like you, Galan, and Mungi. You know your stuff, and you come into any debate prepared to put your money where your mouth is, so to speak.

However, I suspect much of the "DC Hate" on the boards is actually just uninformed Marvel fanboy-ism, especially when Wolvie and Hulk are involved...

Having said all that, I still think the Marvels win this... 😎

As do i given the dr. stange level power of this talisman. tho i'm almost sure Z is about to get an uber boost in countdown. She's been playing a major part.

Now, replace Zatanna with Dr. Fate (Nelson), and this could get really interesting...but I still think Talisman could take even him, the way her powerset is designed...
