Meh I think Colossus recently strangled Sinister somehow with no explanation.

She managed to incapacitate Iceman, I don't see it as impossible for someone as devious as Mystique, with her mind completely shielded from Sinister both naturally and with technology, to deceive him.

That makes no sense as a fan though. Why would Sinister let his guard down around Mystique, especially when he knows her nature. Secondly Mystique is the major villian of Complex 😐 good thing I didn't really buy comics from the series.

Meh... imo it's still been better than some recent crossovers, WWH comes to mind.

Mystique:-
- Has natural telepathic resistance, enough so that Xavier can't read her thoughts. She's also wearing additional psi-shielding, which they make a comment on in X-Men #204.
- Has access to a TO-virus that inhibits healing factors that can be transmitted into the bloodstream by simply touching something sprayed on it.
- Also has a neural power inhibitor that can be transmitted by touch.
- Has had ample opportunity to be in close proximity to Sinister.
- Has read Destiny's Diaries - she knows in part what's going to happen.
- Is a skilled manipulator.
- In all likelihood didn't manage this entirely on her own.

It's not exactly unfathomable that all these pieces could fit together to make her killing him completely plausible. ermmhappy
