I don't need to stress the point that I'm gay. Everyone knows this. However, I'm also put off by this guy. Even as a gay guy I see extremely effete guys and it makes me confused. And Chris Crocker takes it to a whole new level, at that.
There are times I am down right insulted by the inclusion of the extremely effeminate or transgendered or transexual as members of the gay community. I feel like their inclusion somehow reflects poorly on me. And in the opinion of some people, it does just that. But that's turning your back on people who have, in theory, gone through as much, if not more, than any other member of the community. (and this is coming from someone who doesn't believe in the concept of "gay culture".)
I can assure you, if this was a 18 year old girl, no one would be making these kinds of statements and no one would pay her any attention. People would even expect it. So I'm confused as to why everyone who has a shitty opinion of gay people as feminine, emotional, obsessive, et al, would be any more unnerved by this guy than they would be by a girl. This is some obscure video on a massive site like youtube. We wouldn't even be discussing it if it wasn't picked up and forced on us by the news channels.
The thread starter decided to include the "The freak say's he's ****ing his brother!" as a way of illustrating just how ****ed up the guy is, because it goes hand in hand with being a guy who likes Brittney Spears, effeminate, gay, transexual, etc. I don't get it either. I don't find him amusing. But, I can tell you I think he has just as much right to say it, feel it and tell others about it as anyone else; including the people who want to say he's a freaking nut that represents everything that's wrong with humanity. What's the difference between a rabid, effeminate, male, Brittney Spears fan doing and saying anything he wants, and the Jesus freak from the Jesus camp docu? Seriously, it's sad. It's confusing. It's disturbing. But some in this thread would absolutely defend her right to do it, say it, preach it, make kids cry and hate themselves. And it's all about her right to be a fu*king nut! I think it (Note : It gave up it's right for a gender upon posting it's first video) has the right to be shot. Whats odd though is that he's not that funny, his voice is annoying and I want to punch hm. Only two ways have I laughed at this.
1. At the vaguely sad music at the background (Because really, it just highlights how f*cking pathetic he is)
2. My friends interpretation , however he can make even the most mundane things sound humorous.

No, I think he was saying I don't make a big deal about being gay, that it doesn't define me. (which I'm sure some people on here would disagree with)
But that goes back to the notion that gay people should have hide who they are, simply by virtue of the fact that they're different. But we're all different, in one way or another.
I understand the distaste for femenine gay men. They're not easily categorized by others around them. But that's not their problem. One has to remove the knee-jerk reaction to them from the equation. I'm willing to bet that Chris Crocker doesn't think his sexuality defines him. The rest of the world likely does that enough for him.
