Ahh see.
If anything, Ridley's normal costume should be his purple Super Metroid guise since it's shown in both the Zebes stage of SSB 64 & in the intro movie of SSBM, and as a trophy.
Meta and Omega of course, would still be selectable alt costumes (or a final smash as pointed out earlier).

I like the trophy info
A lot of people tend to overlook that aspect about him though 🙁 (that's probably partly because Ridley's not shown talking in the games like he is in the manga, but he's still capable of human speech regardless).
Needless to say, he couldn't be leader of the Space Pirates if he was just a mindless dragon.

Also, he thinks Samus is cute, but tried to kill her anyway.
Shows just how evil he is. xd

I hope we get him, he can be implemented into the game, and offers just as much as the others.

The intelligent piece of that script does capture Ridley well, to be the leader and orchestrate so many of the SP plans, you have to have a degree of intellectual prowess

I mean Ridley only loses to Sammus because she is more equipped then him.
He did beat her twice though. One in the Metroid manga, and the other in the Super Metroid prologue (Ridley weakened her long enough so that he could escape with the Metroid hatchling he stole, though he should've finished her off when he had the chance). Also...
Another awesome Ridley tribute:
A video of what Ridley's B-button attacks might be in Brawl.

I don't think the manga is canon and Ridley ran from Samus in Super Metroid so that doesn't count as a win. Overall it's:
Samus: 6
Ridley: 0
Please correct me if I am wrong but that's one for Metroid (Zero Mission), one for Super Metroid, one for Metroid Prime, two for Metroid Prime 3, and one for Metroid Fusion.

When the player's health is almost gone in Super Metroid (which then you hear that weird beeping sound), that's when Ridley flies off, which was why I said in my previous post that he had a chance there to finish Samus off, but didn't. (after all, Samus didn't have any of her upgrades or anything besides the regular Power Beam when she fought Ridley on the Ceres station, so Ridley could've easily killed her if he had enough time)
So overall it's:
Samus: 6
Ridley: 2
Of course, being the bad guy and all, Ridley's lucky to have gotten any victories against Samus under his belt at all. 😛

He didn't "run" from her. He had what he needed to accomplish his mission (which was to steal the Metroid hatchling), so he decided to escape the Ceres station before it blew up, rather than continuing his fight with her.
If Ridley could have won he would have defeated Samus but he fled. Not the other way around.

(Yes. Those events happened in Super Metroid as we know, so the comics are canon. 😛)
Besides, when you fight Ridley later in the game in lower Norfair (Super Metroid), normal Power Beam shots don't even affect him, so Samus couldn't have truly beaten him on on the Ceres station when all she had was the measly Power Beam.
Ridley triumphed on the Ceres station even though he didn't have the time to kill her, since he was still able to incapacitate Samus long enough to steal the Metroid hatchling and accomplish his mission.
Dark Samus also beat Samus once, as I recall (in that Norion cut-scene where Aran and the other 3 hunters got knocked out cold).

Perhaps he does not want to get rid of her, perhaps he has grown to accustom to her, or.....😖hifty:

He wants to deface the idea, that and he hates himself for loving her.Nah that's just ludicrous 😂
Poor dog...
Got so scared by Ridley and the other bosses, that it turned into a puppy. 😂
I never saw this old commercial back when it was on TV though. 😬

Ridley also makes a cool appearance in this Japanese Super Metroid commercial where he attacks the Ceres station and steals the Metroid hatchling.
Every time I see that, I wish they had made a Metroid movie (and not get cancelled). Would've been awesome.
