Well the dream for Ridley in brawl seems to be over. 🙁

And I basically played Melee for 5 years straight nonstop. Only reason I stopped playing was because the computer became too easy for me. Thanks to online Brawl won't suffer that fate...hopefully.
As for online mode, I guess we'll see how long that entertains me, but I'm not much of an online player. That's never usually a major reason I buy a game.

Tell me what the difference between SC3 and SC4.

...why?
Spoiler:
In Brawl, Ridley's a boss only. You fight him in his normal form from Super Metroid, and his Meta form from Metroid Prime.Ridley fight:

What a waste of character potential. They could've had just one version of him as a boss and the other playable like they did with Bowser and Giga Bowser in Melee.
And, Dark Samus isn't in at all.
Samus remains the only main-stream Nintendo character with no one else from her series playable in it. Sakurai took a big shit on the Metroid franchise. 😘
With all the obscure/villain characters they added, there was really no reason for him not to be playable, and nothing will change that.
I'm kinda not surprised by all this though, as surprising as that may seem. I was hopeful, but you know how long awaited things can go. Disappointments like this are nothing new.
I overestimated Brawl.
I feel they put to many pokemon in it, if they had taken a few out then we could have had Ridley and K. Rool, as for the secret 3rd party member idea that went around, having megaman would have suited brawl.
But if they had got rid of some pokemon and like you said just have on Ridley boss fight, I am sure both Ridley and K. Rool could have been playable.

Indeed...Meh. I got bored of Melee after only 2 or 3 years.

Spoiler:
Oh, and here's a video of the Ridley boss fight in case anyone wants to see.
Spoiler:
That was sweet how he owned Samus in the intro by sliding her body across a wall. 😄
As for the actual boss battle, it seems all of Ridley's attacks were cloned off of the Master Hand's and was not given any original moves himself. He didn't have his fire/plasma breath or anything.
Pathetic.Perhaps the Meta-Ridley boss fight in Brawl (which I haven't seen yet) will have some more original moves.

That did remind me too much of Master Hand. We can only hope that Meta-Ridley will have some different moves but with what I saw with Ganondorf...I doubt it.
I just found the Meta-Ridley (Brawl) fight.
Well, at least he's not a Master Hand clone this time, but he still looked too easy, even for a SSE boss...
