For the HF, Wolverine's recently had a whole blown through his stomach, huge gaping wholes, and it hasn't pur him down, he's been lit on fire, hasn't put him down, blown up not down, shot, not down, run over by a mac truck not down..... See where this is going?

Both speculation and both possibly just a reference to his new inability to come back from death, and both not looking like strong statements compared to the punishment Wolverine's been taking the last several months... since years ago Wolverine was fending off hordes of brood who were gutting him WHILE fighting off their infestation..

Also he had water bodies near him before and still did not fair well.

central park has a huge river. Namor could knock or throw Logan into the river and then it's over.
