you guys who vote wolverine really need a brush-up on the subject of the submariner.
a few examples of what he has done in the past:
stalemated the hulk at least 14 times
stalemated thor at least 2
stalemated black bolt twice
stalemated hercules like 4 times
stalemated silver surfer twice(circumstancial, but still impressive)
beat and stalemated radioactive man
stalemated sentry in a short scuffle
stalemated wonder man and ares together(he basically won.they were getting their asses kicked)
beat abomination
beat savage hulk twice
stalemate with an edge to namor vs beta ray bill.......on land(in a rain.Thor Corps #2)
beat an invaders team, ben grimm, mister fantastic, johnny storm and stalemated hulk one after another on land.
you can tell from this list that those fights with wolverine are PIS in it's purest, most replusive form. and non-usable according to the rules. besides, namor owned his little butt in the last fight anyway.........like he should've all along.

Do you not understand that namor is a brick that has flight. Wolverine powers and abilities is built around fighting bricks. Thats all wolverine has to do is get a good lick on namor and the fight is done and wolverine is more then capable of doing that. Everyone on the list that you name is missing something that wolverine has and thats adamantium claws along with being extremely agile and fast. Is wolverine winning 10/10, no but he is getting the majority, a high majority. Wolverine healing factor allows him to take as much punishment necessary to take namor down but again wolverine only need one slice.
Wolverine 8/10
can he take more punishment than savage hulk?......or beta ray bill? or radioactive man? or.......you get my point.
😆 did you even lazily skim that list for all of a milisecond?
namor has stalemated thor, he's endured a cosmic beam, he's floored beta ray bill with punches.........there's no way he should ever lose to wolverine.....ever.
namor has speed feats that suggest he's faster than wolverine as well.....the only evidence that says otherwise are those fights, and i don't think they're usable on this topic......seeing as they're PIS.
Wolverine is built to handle bricks? How many times has he beaten the Hulk? Or Juggernaut? In fact has he ever beaten the Hulk?
Also Namor isnt the traditional brick. Hes a better fighter than, faster than, more agile than, and smarter than Hulk/Thing/Juggernaut/ other typical brick characters. If your going to just toss him in as having the same powerset as the Hulk, then why is Namor able to beat him consistantly? Because hes smarter and a better fighter.
Really depends on which fight, the most recent, if i remember right, was in Namor in which Wolverine got flattend. But to be fair can you really trust the majority of writers in the last 4-5 years to NOT mishandle and disgrace established characters? Setting past fights aside, which were split more or less, Im giving it to Namor for the reasons listed previously.

Don't know what you mean. All we know is that the water boosted Namors speed and power, there is no pool of water to boost Namor here.

The water doesn't "boost" his speed and power. It REFRESHES him back to 100% health. He was sucker-stabbed by Wolverine. He replenished his health back to normal by jumping in the pool.
So, yea. Normal Namor beat Wolverine there.

Um isn't he stronger in water? Doesn't het get weaker the longer he is out of water. So if he gets soaked in water and comes straight out he would have been stronger than he was before.

Actually I think Namor was pushed in there by accident but im not sure. Seriously though most of the fights with Namor vs Wolverine have Wolverine doing better.

When Namor's in water, he's PERPETUALLY at his peak levels. So it seems like he gets a boost, when really, it's just as if he's plugged into an outlet instead of running on batteries. You follow me?
Also, wasn't he wearing his black hydro-suit thing in that fight? That's suppose to keep him hydrated, I think. Regardless, the dip in the water merely brought him back to his normal, peak levels (with no hindrance in any physical category).

OOOO I get it. Yeah you're right. Wait on KMC Namor fights as if he just came out of water right? If thats the case judging by that fight Namor wins 8/10
What the hell I have that comic, and as I remembered, Namor sucker punched Wolverine first, when he was trying to get him to leave. Namor punched him to the roof of the mansion, then he tried to help Wolverine up, but Wolverine stabs him and backhands him to the ground. Wolverine pursues him to the ground only to be punched into a wall, then Namor dives into the pool. After the dip in the pool Namor swims through the cement rising from the ground beneath Logan for the big punch. That pool pretty much saved his a$$. Namor on land fighting Logan is in trouble, which pretty much every encounter they had has proven.
