also true.. but there's no indication that the incident took place over the course of an 8 count.. after wolvie fell back onto the sword he was no longer fighting as he was trying to help explain things to matt... the same situation may not be said for a fighting wolverine...

Wolverine appeared as if he wasnt capable of fighting any longer.

Daredevil - "Wolverine, are you--?

Wolverine - "Not good Matty. Head feels clear for the first time in a while, but my lungs are filling up and I--"

He also mentions shortly after how much it hurts.

Heh your pic doesn't work.

Heh, I just realised in Zahit's threadstarting post he specifically says "No stupid PIS examples...." 😏

Then why is Wolverine even in a thread fighting against Namor 😂

You ask the important questions. I like that.

Anyone else having the same problem?

No I see it

Ogun is a 7 in speed because he can teleport over very large distances... Not because he fights at lightspeed. Misleading stat.

Wolverine killed Northstar after he jumped through Kitty. The point is that Northstar didn't see him coming, and so just kinda got stabbed. Kitty's a plot device int his situation. Ina straight up fight, Northstar is WAY too fast to get hit by Wolverine. (the fact that she had time to phase means nothing... don't know where that came from)

Wolverine hitting Speed Demon is more skill than speed. He anticipated SD's attack, and threw an elbow. Good feat of skill, but not necessarily of speed. Part of it depended on him being stationary through the assault though... It's much harder to predict attacks when you go flying for 20 yards after every hit.

I really don't like people using the phrase "I don't like it, it never happened" against other people... Because if a low end feat is being used as an argument, it SHOULD be disregarded. Wolverine shouldn't be KOed by elk or dumbbells, because those are his low end feats. Namor getting stunned by pressure points or fighting like a third grader against Wolverine are good examples of HIS low end feats, because he has proven to be both much faster and much smarter.

It isn't a ring out if one or both characters leave the area, it's a ring out if someone throws his opponent away so that they can't return... The ocean isn't THAT far away from Central Park. Namor might even be able to throw him to it FROM Central Park. Which WOULD be a ring out, because Wolverine would drown and die. If Namor goes with him, it's a ring out for neither, because they're still both fighting... Until Namor kicks him into the water and holds him down there until Wolverine drowns.

Namor 9/10. The one he loses being the fight in which he goes at Logan like a third grader.

Oh yeah, and Namor can project electricity... Electric eel power!

LOL seriously Wolverine is so hyped with healing power its just weak. Namor just picks him up throws him to the closest body of water flies there to him and ddrowns the WAY overweight midget!

I thought if you could return to the battlefield it was okay.

is it? I was asking a question...

Hardly. Using his strength and environment is a plot device?

That's like saying in Thor vs Wolverine, Thor should have to fight him hand to hand.

thors powers and hammer are things he always has...

namor doesn't use giant ships to smash enemies on a regular basis.. they aren't something he regularly carries around with him...

It's not a ringout if he can return under his own power in a timely fashion.

It's not a plot device if he picks up something that's handy and crushes Wolverine with it. What about a car? Or a truck?

Anti-Namor guns are obviously plot devices. Trucks and boats are not. I see the latter two all the time. I've never seen an anti-Namor gun.

what's the difference between the car and the anti namor gun?

Having water is a plot device? In NEW YORK? There's a very accessible ocean just a stone's throw away. Or in this case, a Canadian's throw. Namor picks him up, punts him to the ocean, and drowns him. Or rips out his guts. OR electrocutes him.

They're in Central Park, he can pick up a nearby small building and drop it on him.

cause he just laid there and left the sword inside him..he's been stabbed just like that before in the jungle story... he took the spear out and he was fine.. he appears as though he doesn't WANT to fight any longer.. there's a big diff there...

You have a very strange definition of plot device. 😖
