Namor, The Sub-Mariner vs Wolverine

his superior speed is not so fast he can't be touched by the likes of daredevil and captain america much less logan...his superior strength is almost a non factor.....and wolverine's a better fighter...aside from that all wolverine needs is one clean hit...namor doesn't have that same garantee...unless he hits logan in the nads...

He's up in the years like wolverine eh??

Just curious what was the rank on his fighting scale by marvel.

Well, I still think that one hit should be enough. If he punches an building and it falls, how in hell can Wolverine still be standing still if he punches him in the torso or face? He has sent Thing who weighs more the Wolverine flying city blocks when he was not even able to lift 100 tons. Wolverine should go flying like an feather.

It should be higher though. He is nearly 100 years old, has fought hand-to-hand most of that time, and has the best fighting training of Atlantis who are very war-oriented people.

it's actually 4...meaning he has about 62% fighting ability on a 100% scale...compared to logans 100% that's not good for namor.... he can't punch through logan...logan's got an adamantium ribcage and spine..the most he can do is flatten logans organs or turn em into jelly......when hulk did this wolverine's healing factor kicked into overdrive and made his organs heal up before hulk landed the next punch...

Maybe its water fighting that doesn't work on land, but if you're underwater you'd be much stronger on land.

Namor can very much hurt wolverine, best strikes in the stomach.

i'm not arguing whether or not he can cause wolverine pain..he obviously can....he just can't put logan down. if he's close enough to hit logan in the stomach he's close enough to get clawed and then some...logans got more range in h2h not namor...the advantages are not in his favor in h2h with logan...

What if he hits his fist through Logan's body and rips out his organs? Or just plain rips his limbs away? I am sure he could grab them. He is at least that fast.

he can't rip logan limb from limb....wolverine's got the adamantium skeleton going for him...I though you would know that.....lol

he can try and grap organs and pull em out...but again he runs into the same problem as before....he'd had to slow down to do it..he have to almost make him self stationary to make the attack effective and on top of that he'd be way to close to wolvies claws for comfort...besides it's not like wolverine's exactly gonna stand there and let it happen....

What if he rips his arms from their sockets?

What if he grabs his hands to stop him from slashing him and then kicks him in the gonads?

first off....the adamtium skeleton works with hinges etc...second his skeletons' been bonded at the molecular level...this is why when a full speed stealth bomber hit him in the back it didn't make his vertebre slip out of place (before you go crazy, i want to say I realize this doesn't make any sense, how can logan move? I dunno..but that's how the character's been presented, and any oppinions on how ludicrous or ridiculous the notion of his skeleton being bonded together is, is moote the fact is, in the MU his skeleton's bonded...so that's that...)

third...wolverine's a master of all forms of combat...do you know how hard it is to immolize someone's arms by grabbing them at the wrists when they know a good bit of martial arts? it's near impossible...against wolverine' who's a master of all forms of h2h combat...and is boasting those wickd claws..that will be a hard task to accomplish...and what if logan kicks namor there first?....who's got the faster acting healing factor outside of water?

Taken Namor's durablity, I doubt that the kick would hurt him as much as it would hurt Logan...

he couldn't kill logan too easily, but can definitely put him down, and test that healing factor.

Regular slashes from Wolverine wouldnt do much at all to Namor. I think I have their first encounter and with 2 slashes all Namor got was a riped jacket and shirt(ithink).

Namors durability is highly underrated here.

PIS (and in a small part CIS) is the only reason heroes that can't afford to get stabbed buy Wolverine don't get stabbed when he fights them. PIS is turned off on these forums, so Namor isn't going to be leaving the fight with three scratches on his chest.

I agree with you for the first time s, he wont have a scratch on his chest.

Who are these characters we are speaking of that cheaply avoid wolvies claws in the comics?? 🙂

Hey srankmissingnin. I have a question. What does PIS and CIS mean?

I think Namor is going to be leaving the fight with many scars, but only after a ling fought victory.
