USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 FIFTH ASSIGNMENT- 'The Pagoda'

Started by Lord Melkor38 pages

I thought that I should help Heph, what other people think?

Aborting that idea, then...

Melkor, let's see what San or Mors think.

Heph will have spent his previous turn beating up Bow monks, using an HT tap to attack two of them. He swaps PW for VG.

This turn, with Lo Qi upon him, Heph charges straight for him with a stellar kick, knocking Lo Qi backwards. Heph follows up by bringing down his heel into Lo Qi's chest. (tap VG, tap SE, tap WW, swap VG for DiM)

Can't do that with HT, Heph, as there isn't going to be two of them in melee with you.

Alrighty. Heph will use that HT tap on Lo Qi, then, if he gets his chance to attack.

Mors crumples backwards once Jericho withdraws his blade, applying pressure to his wound once Jericho and Azrael engage each other.

Melkor, pummel one of Burn's attackers. Burn, shotgun the other.

Okay, Melkor will shoot one of Burn`s attackers moving farther into the room.

I will change my action and shotgun the mook.

Burn, make sure you swap in 10B for KW. You don't want your defensive power sitting where it is, should a refresh come.

ah yes...
10b for KW please.

Ok, first we make up Heph's last action as he brings down a bow monk.

Then the initiative roll goes... 6-5 to you guys! Darn important that one.

This being the case, Melkor and Burn blast at those combat mooks. Burn gets a shotgun bonus and fires on 13 dice, whilst Melkor has to make it on six.

Well, Burn makes it... and 1, 2, 2, 5, 5, 6 six Melkor does too, three is what he needed! Both foes are dropped.

Berserker has a badly needed BS back in. His DM tap means the Advisor's counter-blow is not of great quality... yet Berserker is hit anyway, having tapped CF.

Ok, Jericho starts to turn on Azrael having spun around, driving Azrael back, moving the two of them away from Mors. Azrael himself hits back pretty darn hard though.

Heph goes hardcore for Lo Qi, against which the monk makes an LA tap. Disaster! Heph's kick misses! Lo Qi spins around and your foot simply sails past him.

Heph's Healthy Tiger counter-blow does not miss, but the effect is not great. Lo Qi does not miss at all, and turns the irony on Hpeh as he uses a Passive Wings tap to throw him, and a Swooping Eagle tap to take Heph out of the fight, using the exact same move he used against Heph at the Monastery. Still, at least he distracted the bowmen.

The Shield flies away from Heph when Lo Qi throws him. It skitters across the floor, to land at the 2/3rds mark.

Card- AC

Melkor can run and shoot right?

If so Melkor run towards the Shield shooting at the remaining Bow Monks.

Burn I think you have two choices to do

A) Make a break with Melkor trade for the Uzi if you have to shooting at the other bow monks or Lo Qi

B) Shotgun the Adviser and help Berserker finish him off unless Berserker goes down this turn. Then go help Melkor.

I would rather you go Uzi Lo Qi as he will have to bullet time delaying from getting to the Shield. Although be prepared to finish off the Adviser if you have to because Berserker is probably going to go down this turn and I don't know how much more damage the Adviser is going to take before he goes down. I'm hoping he will go down after 50 but that is optimistic. I think because of his size he will probably be an 80 damage kind of guy.

Berserker realizing he is on his last legs refuses to go down without a fight. Letting loose with a barrage of knife attacks. Tap IB and tap LA

I wish to note that none of our remaining fighters have a disengagement move. Yay!

Burn, blast the Advisor apart. Melkor, shoot the Bow monks, get moving.

Um, okay, so I should have known he had a sword. But meh, it ain't that important now.

Azrael taps HT again. He wants to try and move the fight back toward the room and the shield.

CF bonuses, and also bringing in LA (I seem to be missing a power from back when I tapped two at once).

Hence why I told them to make a break for it because because Burn and Melkor are disengaged and they can shoot while running right?

Melkor will run towards the shield, sending some shots towards the bow monks if possible.

I will tap StS on the advisor.

An unfortunate waste from Burn- he and Melkor concentrating on the bowmen could hgave brought them down. Instead, the Advisor taps Storm Turtle to avoid Burn's attack, and a final bow hit brings Burn down.

Then things suddenly swing around. Berserker's knife attacks are being blocked by the Advisor until with a sudden stab the staff is slashed in half; the Advisor pitches forwards, off balance, and falls onto his own staffspike.

(I dunno what you meant about his size, Berserker... these Monks are very good but they all lack your sort of bulk).

Azrael and Jericho trade blows, Jericho smashing Azrael with the pommel of his sword, Azrael making forceful ripostes back for each blow of Jericho's.

Melkor runs forwards, but just standard gun firing is not enough to bring down a bow monk, and they now turn towards him.

Lo Qi runs towards the Shield.

Card- AC

Mors- something small and plastic just landed by your head, in your field of vision.

Azrael taps HT one more time, switching it out for BGB. Hitting him as per usual.

Mors, still applying pressure to his wound, reaches out to grab the object.
