USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 FIFTH ASSIGNMENT- 'The Pagoda'

Started by Ushgarak38 pages

Initiative- bad guys.

Mors is sadly misled if he feels he can simply walk out of the fight with Jericho, without the use of a disengaging power. Jericho makes the most of his chance- and runs Mors through.

The Advisor attacks Berserker but is defelcted by a Clever Fox tap, whilst Heph dodges all fire with his Natural Order tap, as Lo Qi closes on him.

Making up Melkor's CC tap from last turn sees him rolling well to drop two foes; he takes a hit from the one remaining.

And now your go!

I'll have to hold Heph's action.

Azrael makes a truly abysmal roll at Jericho as the Hunter turns slowly to face him.

Berserker is fighting pretty hard against the Advisor, but an LA tap keeps the Advisor free from harm from Berserker and Burn alike...

Melkor drops his last foe as the two monks who downed San go for Burn.

Card- 6H

Berserker will tap DiM on the Adviser as Berserker decides to make a break for Lo Qi to keep him from getting to Heph.

Lo Qi is way past you already.

How many turns would it take me to get there?

2 and the Advisor won't let you break combat.

"Well, shit," Azrael says, straightening up and glancing at the rest of the fight, "I'll race you for it."

I don't think he's gunna hit back, so Azrael moves to disengage, heading for Lo Qi.

Heph... fancy trying to meet Azrael halfway and giving him the shield?

Now would be the perfect moment for Dallas to miracuously appear and save our butts...

Yes he is going to hit you, Azrael, so simply moving away from him is very dangerous.

Can Lo Qi attack Heph from last turn? Or was he still moving into my area?

He spent last turn moving into your area.

Safe to say that if Heph spends his last turn moving into the 2/3rds mark, he would move past Lo Qi and they would fight?

Alright then Berserker continues tapping DiM and also taps HT this turn.

He will swap out HT for IB.

Stupid, stupid. I don't know why I never took any disengaging powers.

I guess our fight continues. I assume Jericho's got a blade, since he ran Mors through, in which case I'll be using bonuses on CF from now on.

Azrael hits Jericho instead, preparing for his counter-blow (tapping HT).

Uh, what the heck is with the "Heph moving away from Melitus" thing...?

And we already know that Jericho is fighting with a sword...

Yes, kinda struck by that 'I assume Jericho has a blade' comment...

Yup.

Melkor will move towards the Far Side, shooting at the bowmonks. He curses, seeing the bodies of his comrades all around.

Melkor! No.
First shoot the two mooks coming for me so I can put fire on the advisor!.

Which I'm going to do again. He can't tap twice!

This is true (though only kinda), but it depends on those Mooks going down as you cannot shotgun once they engagr you.
