USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 FIFTH ASSIGNMENT- 'The Pagoda'

Berserker, I believe Heph was talking to you. Since you're not fighting armored opponents, the tapped effect of DiM might be beneficial to keeping you alive, as it saps your opponent of their dice.

-

Mors, having ran Jericho through, is alarmed when the Hunter does not collapse as he had done before. He withdraws his katana from Jericho's chest cavity, then whisks the blade across Jericho's bandaged face.

Tap LA, tap SP, swap SP for JE.

Melis hits the ceiling and then falls to the floor with an undignified grunt of pain.

"Good throw..."

Initiative to you guys.

I am going to have to hold Melkor's action as I have no legal one- careful how you direct people, San.

Azrael hits and gets a bonus- which one did you want?

San brings down her target, wuth bonus.

Chances of you getting a bonus are extremely low I am afraid, Berserker, and your HT tap is a miss! You hit the Advisor with your main blow, though.

With his vicious throw, Heph Passive Wings a combat monk to death and Sirin smashes one away also.

Burn taps out Carnival to blast away two of those bow guys...

... and it is their turn.

San is finally brought down by those last two Monks, and another bow volley brings down Sirin and would have brought down Burn were it not for his KW tap.

Considering it was an error that let them attack unmolested in the first place, Melkor has a good round as one of his foes misses him entirely.

Lo Qi is heading down the room towards Heph.

Mors has tapped like crazy to save himself, and the Advisor pokes at Berserker again, though not as efficiently as in earlier rounds.

Heph, you are in luck- your HT tap actually killed your only remaining attacker for the turn so WW stays untapped.

Card- 5H

Berserker will tap CF this turn.

He will also try and use its Bonus again if he can.

He will tap HT once more

And afterwards he will trade CF for SS

So I have two turns worth of actions? Melkor would like to first shoot at his attackers with CC, switiching for HL, than tap HL and attack them in melee. Is it possible?

You cannot shoot at them; you cannot use a large gun in melee.

Can I switch to my light pistols?

Only if you drop the SMG.

The same for switching to melee combat? Would dropping it still allow for action the same turn?

Nope, don't need to do it to switch to melee combat- you can always make a barehanded attack no matter what. And yes, dropping it is free, allows an action in the same turn.

I see much disaster this round...

Seeing Lo Qi approaching, Heph bends low over Melitus' bed, in order to hear him.

"What do I do with the Shield?!" he asks.

Tap NO if the archers target me.

Melkor, drop the SMG, go to pistols. You'll survive longer.

-

Mors gives Jericho one almighty hack, leaving his katana stuck in Jericho. He pulls out his sais.

(tap JE, tap LA, swap JE for PM)

I'll take the HT bonus, for a total +4 damage, and hit him again.

However, I don't think Jericho is going to drop no matter how many times we hit him. Mors, I think you should leave, and let Azrael hold him up instead.

If Mors does leave, then Azrael places himself in the doorway of the corridor, so Jericho can't get past him.

I think you're right, Azrael. This isn't my fight...

Mors will tap LA to leave him clear of Jericho's attack and slip past him, moving back to the main fight.

Swap CF for PM.

You don't have Neo powers, Heph- if you are avoiding fire you are in absolutely no state to do as you ask.

Yea Mors, go attack Lo Qi or something.
I will fire my shotgun at the advisor

Okay, Melkor`s action for previous turn- drop SMG, shoot with pistol, tap CC, swap for HL.

Action for this turn- make a barehanded attack, tap HL and HT, swap HL for SS. Is it okay?

Don't tap HL. It's a bit of a waste...

Okay, Barty...scratch the tapping HL part.
