Yes, this is one possible way to look at it (though I never based my argument on the 'genetic comlexity' of humans... but rather on the OVERALL complexity of the human organism, including intellect, and achievement). I concede this point to you, and now realise that you are mostly arguing semantics and definitions (the meaning of 'special' & 'superior'- the relative inability to make comparisons between species). I won't attempt to take you on in such matters, as I think you are essentially correct, and a little better at such arguments than I. I was only trying to be true to the SPIRIT of the topic 'Are humans special?' and argue against those touchy-feely type who want to equate any and all animals/lifeforms on the planet with humans. I think we are in basic agreement on this point, but perhaps I misread you still.
