Is there a PURGATORY?

dude pergatory is like just this big empty white place with people waiting for half of eternity just waiting not really doing anything. so why would you have any reason to believe that that is really there

For me Purgatory is the place where the spirit goes and remains there until reincarnation.

Meaning, that if you don't achieve the level of enlightment in your previous life. You get to cleanse your spirit in purgatory before reincarnation.

Oh, you won't believe how certain catholics and buddhist reject my view.
