Heh, Backfire, I'd play you, but I'm only on PSN... Some people need to get into the PS3 realm of things...TBH most people online use Ken, and for some ungodly reason can't avoid the Raging Demon...
My PSN online ID is Darkstorm_Zero
Feel free to add me in so we can have some dueling going down.

Online is saturated with Ken and Ryu. Hopefully people will migrate to other characters when they get a grasp of the game (probably not).
This has been the case since 1991 during the arcade scene, and it hasn't changed for over nearly 20 years, so I don't see it changing anytime soon. Ryu and Ken are just the "go to guys", and Ken's popularity here in the States is astronomical, especially with the new generation and their 3S Ken fever love.
It's puzzling to how many players who've I've met in the past year personally who make the claim that Ken was better then Ryu in most SF games... 😕, and there only claim to that is 3S, lol.
Anyhow, there are a few things i hate about about SF:IV or don't like as much I should say...the SF:IV anime cut scenes, and the english dubbing is absolutely terrible in this game. Sagat sounds like some stereotypical black guy, which I find absolutely boggling.
Other then that though, SF:IV is epic on so many lvls.
Btw, you guys should be reading up at srk.com on the peeps who helped to write the SF Canon Guide, Ryu is truly a monster in the SF storyline, and far more manly then we had previous thought. One example...dodging 17 air projectiles from Gouki that he launched within 1 second and countering it ='s Epic Manliness, considering projectiles travel at firearm speed.
True. Ryu and Ken have always been the go to guys, they're the face of Street Fighter, really. I also remember Guile getting a lot of play time in the first SFII.
I expect many people to go to Akuma in SFIV. He's a fun and flashy character. Only thing that really holds him back is not being able to juggle into his ultra/super.
And I've been seeing a lot of Blanka's as well, and surprisingly C.Vipers as well.

My PSN is TheSeekerofPower. Although I'm confident I'll get crushed. Though I know the basics and some combos here and there I never got into high-level SF competition--Tekken being my strong suit.

Heh.. well I think his super is better than his ultra.. you can avoid his ultra most of the time (or it might be the other way around?.. I forget)
but yeah... all you need with Aku is EX's
I like his new air fireball gameplay (at least I've never seen it done this way before).
I need to learn more dirty tricks with Abel..

Im one of those. I really wanna get a better handle on C.Viper but after getting my @$$ handed to me a few times, I ran back to my trusty Ken.

This damn game is hard as phuck! I refuse to put the difficulty any lower than medium.
I put it on easy, just so I can unlock Cammy. I suck with who I have to beat the game with to unlock her.
I notice they change Cammy.
I cant get her cannon spike to work. But with training and practice, perhaps I be as good with Cammy as I was in Alpha and SFII series.

Man I wish Guy was in this game!
The reason Ono didn't put any Final Fight characters in there was due to copy rights difficulties. I forgot, but there was someone else that he really wanted from Final Fight in there also, but due to the stupid copy rights and the sheer hassle of going through that to get it, he simply just decided to not put FF character's in it.
Sad but true really, I would have loved to of seen Guy in this game, however these rights disputes are as dumb as what took place with TvC.
Btw, this past week, getting into srk.com has been an absolute nightmare with over 4,000+ people on per day over there, there servers have been ridiculously slow, however that's a good sign, that people ARE interested in SF:IV.
SF:IV>>>>>Tekken 6, SC4, VF5, all of them, muahahahahahahaha.
For a long time Kintaro(MKII) held the record for hardest boss/subboss of all time imo.
It seems SF4 just beat Kintaro's boss hardest record. Seth is harder than Kintaro ever was. This guy is relly hard. And to beat him, the force relly has to be with you here. A kick that shocks you, teleport to confuse if he is behide you?? Or foreward?? I cant get no special move, because of the control pad, I go into dragon punch mode, and he teleports behide, and thus the dragon punch never happen because, WELL, I was faceing the wrong way lol.
Than we get into his sonic booms, long arms, and super moves, and he is a tough nut to crack. Not to mention he spams his thowns. He even knock me down, and thown me BEFORE I even got up.
