dont worry about trickster. he's just a big fanboy who saw stars falling from the sky announcing the launch of SF4 so he gets a little p!ssy anytime you say you don't think its the gospel 😂

heh.. my friend said he was watching the devastation live stream the other day.. and this dude (a super turbo player), placed 2nd in the SF4 tourney they had there.. then walked up to the camera, and said "yo, this game is garbage" 😂

😆
well, he's right. it is. unless you're a fanboy, there is no way you'd look at SF4 and say its a good game. just like no amount of nostalgia can make you say that hulk hogan is a good wrestler. SF4 simply offers nothing new, offers nostalgia but it doesn't mean anything since if i want to play sf2 i can always play the umpteenth remake of the phucking thing and they already came up with the revival or someshit like that some time ago, and has shit graphics, shit characters, shit physics.

unless you frankie yagami there's no way this game gets good rating. i'll give it 6-7/10 on a very good day.

P.S. incidently that cumface actually gave SF4 a 9/10 replay value and 9/10 for...customization 😐 some should slap that wanker for being such a fangirl at his age. then again, he was the dousche who showed signs of sanity by sayng that the graphics of SF4 ddn't look good and with in weeks decided that they were good....even when the graphics hadn't been updated till another one month. he's a dikhead 😂

sounds like the dude's a butthurt loser. 😬

or just right 😬

I prefer butthurt loser.

lol.. can either of you place 2nd while not even giving a shit about the game?.. I highly doubt it... he's most likely annoyed that the game isnt a decent successor to the street fighter franchise

2nd place is a pretty high spot to obtain if he were truly a butthurt loser

On SFIV? Nah.

Why is it not a decent successor? Because it does not offer enough "new?"

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

It IS basically SF2 with different graphics and new characters...And I am fine with that.

*slaps nemebro and points to SF2turbo, SSF2, SSF2T, SF2revival, SSF2 with the new graphics*
how the phuck can you people still play the same game in the name of new graphics?!!

I prefer butthurt loser.

doesn't that sounds wrong... 😕

Fun game, SFIV.

I have fun playing it, SFIV.

Must suck though, cuz one tournament player said so, nevermind all the tournament players who don't think it sucks.

If it gets old, you might as well fix it.

not really.

the last street fighter was made in what.. 2000?.. almost 10 years passed.. so I'm fairly willing to bet (especially because they constantly release a new version of rehashed SF (HD Remix anyone?) on a fairly constant interval these days) that street fighter players are just loving it because its a truly "new" street fighter.. and thus needs no introduction..

I've even heard that justin wong says it sucks.. and he smacked the crap out of everyone .. but it pays his bills.. so commence the rape-age

Fun and competitive play couldnt be more different from one another

do I personally enjoy mashin on SF4 with some friends.. sure

but when it comes down to the nitty gritty, and I try to take it seriously (because there are few genres in video game land that I take seriously), I wind up being disappointed

millions of kids think pokemon is great (especially now that another rehash is on the horizon).. but the rest of us know better

SFIV is a fun romp for me.. but i'm not going to take it seriously until SFIV : The New Generation (or whatever they decide to call their 60 dollar expansion) comes out

I'm not bashing this game mind you.. these are just personal disappointments I have with it.. and I just found it amusing that someone who partakes in exremely high level play would share my opinion

true.
with SFIV everyone seems to want to defend it like its their sister's cherry. wtf is up with that?
lotta fighting games are fun with friends. freaking tekken4 and street fighter EX was fun with friends because you're playing it casually and with friends around you can enjoy it. but when you play it alone and seriously, SF4 is a HUGE let down, offering absolutely nothing new and has shit replay value. i played it with all characters, and never touched it again.
when it comes to nitty gritty and serious gameplay, i don't think nostalgia and "its fun with friends" is a right answer. or even a sane one. i don't care if its not broken. when you put 4 next to a game that means you're trying to do something new. i could say that tekken4 was fun with friends (it was) but it does.not.make.it.a.good.game
period.

In this case, yes.

Afraid not.

And fighting games are practically geared to be multiplayer...Who gives a shit what the single player is like? I have never played ANY fighting game I genuinely enjoyed playing alone. Except Guilty Gear for some reason.

all games are judged on the single player basis because you don't always have friends around and you don't feel like kidnapping a hobo and forcing him to play. and when SF4 is judged on sngle player bass (or even multiplayer because its offering nothing but nostalgia...much like every other SF besides the 3 series) it gets shitstomped in the balls and then put through the wringer.

~Sado

Judging SFIV or any fighting game primarily based on the single player experience is like judging Counter Strike or Left 4 Dead based on their single player experience with bots. Fighting games are one of those genres where the longevity and real quality and fun come from multiplayer, not single player. Single player for a fighting game should really be nothing more than practice.

Actually, afraid so. You can't just basically make the same game over and over because it'll eventually get old and that's the problem with SFIV.
