Street Fighter IV

I haven't really played SF for years but I want to get into it, Im gonan get 4 in a while but I have Hyper 2 next to me. Any tips for me to get better apart from playign allot obviously?

I play with Hwoarang on Tekken and characters fast like him generally. So who would you recommend I use?

Also if I want to play as similar to 4 as possible should I use SuperT or what?

Street Fighter 4 is much like Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo(HD Remix if you have live) Only it has extra gameplay features.

Since you like fast characters I recomend the following:

Fei Long: Fast pokes, focus attacks and has the fastest dash.

Chun Li: Her pokes are fast, she walks really fast and her ex lightning kicks is fast as hell.

Fei Long is one of my mains, he's really hard to use well. His Ultra can't be comboed into like others, and the lack of projectiles hurts him as well. His pokes are very good, though.

his forward roundhouse (at least he had it in super / super turbo) is one of my many fave command normals 🙂

I'm not really a fan of his rekkas though.. feels very 'hit or miss'.. I feel like rekka-types should have branching paths.. like Kyo's "rekka" flame fists.. dude has like 8 different options lol

I wasnt aware that Hwoarang was fast .. pretty sure there are faster in tekken

His kicks and combos are pure pwnage.

Thanks guys, just gotta learn how to do the moves and stuff. My attacks are basic in fighting games normally. I suck so I am finding it difficult to do them properly.

Gamestop's having a SFIV tourney on Aug 1st. where i live in downtown Boston. I'll be there.

I know the manager there and i asked him what the winner would get and he said just this kinda special belt he has and he said the only way to get it is to beat him. I asked him who he picks and he smiled slyly and spelled out "S-A-G-A-T.."

I was playing "ncaa 10" a few days ago at that gamestop, saw him, and asked him to throw SFIV on so i could smash him in it and he smiled, stretched his arms out and said "i can't. you'll just have to wait in line."

rraahh! i can't wait to pulverize him..lol.

Speed wins. And my Ultras've always come out on cue exactly when i want and exactly where i want. And as long as i don't always stay too close to him.

I'll tell you about the match up afterwards. And i won't lie if i lose. It's just a game. But for some reason i feel he's so not gonna win though but it's still just a game.

priority of abilities, and knowledge of frame data wins.. then there is, of course, the random chance-taking of battle

blankas ok.. but he just doesnt have the spacing and damage sagat does..

but you'll most likely score the win if you're the better player, no doubt

Tiers don't matter when there's a different in who's more skilled.

Damn game is so annoying to play with a handheld controller.
