The explosion was about 50 times the size of keplers supernova the electromagnetic shockwave came flying at clark at the speed of light BEHIND it was the expanding ball of radiation.
Get it? He TOOK the 50 times the size of a supernova explosion. and THEN there was the radiation.
So you keep posting him taking the 50 times supernova explosion. IT proves that he can take the planet destroying blast. Unless you think that a 50 times supernova explosion is less than planet destroying...
