I hope those insults weren't as pitiful as the ones above ... 🙂

Anyway back on topic, I've yet to see any evidence to suggest that Darksied is that much stronger than Wonder Woman.

Uh?

I never said she couldn't beat him with her weapons. I said she couldn't match his strength with her own.

Derr, I asked for you to differentiate these pieces. After this I can pursue my discussion with yo I wasn't basing my discussion on strength.

Superman 211?

Is that the For Tomorrow arc?
Because she was clearly in his ballpark for strength, given the fact that she knocked him out the Fortress in one blow.

He was faster than her, and is clearly more durable than her as well.

Superman and Wonderwoman is pretty much Thor and Namor.

One is clearly more powerful, but a fight can be made of it.

He slapped her across the Fortress. He caught her punches. She felt the need to block the flick of his blood with her knife. Hell, speaking of that, she came to fight with an enchanted blade and a shield. Kinda says something, yes?

And Thor did have the upperhand.

But the fact that Thanos took on someone amped with the PG, and didn't outright lose, says a whole lot.

Says a lot about durability but nothing about his strength.

I dunno though, I'd have to see that fight again to say anymore about it. I'll refrain from posting on that subject.

Well I'm off to bed but just for you Val

Silver Surfer wins 9/10 the 1/10 being when Loeb writes Superman.

Superman can keep it interesting for a bit but Silver Surfer is as good or better in almost every category save strength and maybe durability 😛

Kismet stated Dominus was multiversal. He created his own realities..hmmm.

As for the barrier breaking thing..I suggest you stop watching the back to the future reruns and read some comics.... last I remember quite a few characters met their alternate selves and fought and the barriers of time/space did NOT break.

As for the bomb, well, galactic level>>>>>>>>>solar system level>>>>>>standard sun. Good enough for me...

"Darkseid hasn't been Odin level for a very long time, and if he's not Odin level, there's a big chance he sits at Thanos level, nah mean?"

DS sits at Thanos level and yet Superman has beaten him.
Thanos whoops Surfer like nobody's business..so you basically defeated your own argument.

He created realities that he pulled from the minds of his victims.

And the fact that many people thought Superman was acting strangely, screams that it was all self contained in his head.

But hey, the fact that one abstract lady says otherwise, nullifies everything else my mind registered.

And the space/time continuum thing breaking down is par for the course.

See what happens whenever Superman and Ultraman meet for any length of time.
It happens in almost all time travel/alternate reality movies/books.

Not limited to just the greatest movie trilogy of all time.

And he didn't absorb the explosion. He absorbed the powersource of the bomb itself.

Great feat, truely for someone who doesn't consciously absorb energy.

I'm only arguing this for fun. I don't have a set opinion one way or the other on Surfer Vs Superman. 😄

Aye@!

Leave the big purple monster with the penis head alone!

So was I but unlike you I really do think Silver Surfer wins quite handily for the most part 😛

This whole discussion is just kinda out of proportions, nm what I said before, I was going to quote and dissertate but it's SS vs SM it's just about hate..

*I just shot myself for such bad white rhymes* lol

So let me get this straight..if Eternity called someone multiversal then it wouldn't count? The fact that she and Dominus himself have stated that he can in fact create a reality (hell even YOU stated it) out of a thought says something about his power.

Why didn't the universe break down when anyone else was fighting their counterpart?

In terms of Mageddon, it looks like Superman willed himself to absorb it to me...

Ah...this thread is like a never ever ending avalanche of delicious ice cream!

No, seriously I thought I rapped kind well, kinda, maybe, ok not so much, lol.

At first I believed that Surfer was more powerful than Superman, believing it feasible that Surfer could take the slight majority. However as I look back at some of the points made I've changed my opinion. Superman as of late is clearly portrayed more powerful than Surfer.

As a fan of Marvel comics, I can also say that Surfer isn't as powerful as some would have us believe. Yes he has his more prestigious feats just as the next top tier, however on average he's portrayed as a powerful character who often times requires further aid of outside characters to accomplish more difficult task.

While versatile, Surfer simply doesn't possess the outright raw power to defeat Superman.

As for Darkseid and Thanos. I don't believe Darkseid to be as powerful as he once was. Through the years he has fall, and quite noticeably I might add. If a battle were written between DS and Thanos I can honestly say I see Thanos winning. As of late, Thanos has been portrayed more powerful than DS, similar to the situation dealing with Surfer and Supes.

You sure as of Late Thanos is more powerful than DS? Better try and read some CURRENT DC.

SS does not possess power to defeat Superman? 😉

And just when this thread was settling down...
