Thats neither here nor there. Runner was still winning the fight. He may not have touched him but he still smashed his chair (the chair is part of his equipment and has been used as a weapon) and Thanos was floating around helplessly. Doesnt sound like he was winning to me.

Thanos then decides to use the time gem on him, obvoulsy because if he had not he would have lost the fight. When somebody is losing a fight then pulls out a weapon, the person who has pulled out the weapon is the weaker opponent.

Surfer could evn synthsize supes powers and add them to his own givng him an even bigger advantage

I take it you haven't read the story then and are just guessing at random and/or using Wiki as usual. Not too surprising I guess. He didn't get the 'sundip' powerup by that point. When he did that, it was pretty much the end of the story.

I cant believe that you put up scans of superman beating some probes when they werent even comparable to surfer in power or durability. I could have sworn that doomsday was oneshotting numerous of probes, hell even krypto gave a probe a hard fight. Black lightning defeated a probe, wonderwoman defeated a probe (almost got killed), aquaman defeated one. The probes wasnt nothing but a decoy, wonderwomans mother also defeated two probes with ease.

Surfer without even absorbing anything from superman, or without even creating anything to defeat superman should be able to beat superman just by using his cosmic power. Surfer is frankly just to powerful for superman. Surfer has all of supermans powers plus interest.

Now I do agree, superman would give surfer trouble (due to the fact that surfer is gullible and wouldnt go all out in the beginning) but I cant see superman pulling a win against the surfer. Just look at annihilation, surfer beat two beings that was equal to galactus in powers. Before the defeat that galactus faced during annihilation, surfer was going against a being that was stated as being just as strong as galactus by himself, he lost but he gave her a challenge, (i will get the names for you later, cant remember, just woke up).

Surfer wins this hands down.

Well the way I see it realy depends on which Sups were talking about, if it's current supes I'd give Surfer 7/10. If it's PC supes I give supes 10/10.

He stated that he felt faster... and since he wasn't actually faster... logic dictates he was teleporting.

Um he took Hulk by surprised (who atm thought Surfer was the only friend he had) then got thrashed.

Um yeah

IIRC he got two cheap shots in on Hulk when Hulk was shocked to see his friend, then Hulk immediatly got up and pummeled him so bad it had to be censored by the crowd cringing.

And the only thing that he was missing were his energy based attacks, he seemed to be just fine physically.

Yeah, he took on Hulk and got whomped. Superman's weakness can be as exploited as Surfer's physical prowess.
