No. The surfer has a more versatile power set. Certainly not on a higher level. Or do you mind me saying Hal and Kyle are on a higher level than surfer?

The surfer is on a higher level. Being among the top beings in almost evry aspect of his powerset while having one of the most versatile powersets puts surfer above supes. SS is aldo hsd s higher destructive power output than supes.

galactus empowered him with the most portion of PC of all of the other heralds since he realized creating robotic "sons" was faulty, he needed a herald with a soul to serve him.

and just like thanos, norrin radd's most powerful asset isn't really his awesome might, it's his mind and the way he utilizes his resources.

Well SS did defeat the unilord who was basically God in his universe by absorbing billions of souls basically the enrgy of that universe. He also entered into a prolonged fight with two galactus level beings and was not koed. Then while weakened he performed a feat that Galactus himself admitted would be hard for even him to do which was channel the crunch enrgies. So actually if u want to go by high end feats only SS still comes out on top.

Would that others would find Superman's weakness so easy to exploit. I can't think of anyone outside of the firestorm's who can even make k-nite. And they are the top of the line in matter manip. Now as for Superman's other weakness, red sun light, i've only seen it used as a weapon from another being in the likes of amazo who used it in combine of flashes powers becuz he had to be that fast to pull it off. now surfer's ability to use Superman's weaknesses doesn't mean he's more powerful than superman. How do you think Surfer would beat someone like say Sodom Yat as a GL? if he had experience with his GL ring and daxam powers?

amazo from JLU was the closest analogue surfer if he was in the dc universe minus the copying ability,his look, his power, versitility, and personality were very close to early silver surfer. very close.

The fights u just mentioned, would u care to describe them? I a nearly 100 percent sure that they had to do with plot devices and supes and orion certainly did not defeat a multiversal threat using their own power. Practically all the feats u mentioned have little to do with showing how powerful superman is but instead simply show his importance to the DC as their premiere character. Surfer has him beaten when it comes to feats that actually display their power.

You post one showing of surfer in hand to hand against people who are no where near tuff enough to harm him, nor are they fast enough to catch him off guard and you call that over whelming? WTF.
