If he was trying to kill him thanos would have been dead, odin wanted thanos to yield the fight not kill him, odin was definately not going allout.
Odin doesnt appear to fight with his army unless he believes it is a serious threat to Asgard. He even brought out gungir so that he cud be even more powerful. He thought that they were there to destroy asgard so obviously he was going all out to stop them. He even told thanos that his doom was assured.
Odin however is an asgardian warrior and he realized during the fight that thanos was a worthy foe(he admitted it during the fight), and hence decided to give him the opportunity to surrender or be killed.

If u can say that Ss wont land a blast u are just adding more reasons for u not to be taken seriously. SS is able to navigate on his board at high speeds and intiates blasts so the arguement u use for his h2h skills wont work. When has superman dodgged every attack from a character as fast or as powerful as SS?LOL. 😂
Exactly. SS is capable of incredibly high speeds and has been shown blitzing people outright.
And I'm about to ruin some Superman fans night. Because whereas no one can apparently "quantify" Superman's blitz speed, I've done exactly that with the Silver Surfer. Let's begin, shall we?

The credit for those scans go to Darthgoober. Previous to the initial scan, it's stated that Surfer and Warlock are a little over a light-year's distance away. Now, how far is that, might you ask? Well, the answer is 5.879 trillion miles. And keep in mind that they are at a further distance than this - by how much is unknown.
Now, how much time do you think it would take for someone who has already pulled their fist back - ready to punch - to actually start their downswing? Rough estimate...one second. You could say longer, but I think anyone who does would be ridiculous. Not only that, but as its stated they are over a light-year's distance away, and yet I'm only using one light-year flat - I'd say saying 1 second is just fine. The speed of light is 186,282 miles per second. Guess what that means?
The Silver Surfer blitzed Thanos at 31,559,678 times light speed. No, you're reading that correctly. Over 31 million times the speed of light. You want proof he can do such a thing without missing? Okay.
Scan credit for those go to Ambient and Darthgoober.
Now then - from here on out, I don't want to hear any garbage about Superman being faster than SS or Superman blitzing Norrin. Because, until you can prove that Superman's speedblitz even approaches 15 million times light speed, you don't have a case in that department.

She's grasping at straws.
Meanwhile, I'm accepting concessions currently for that particular point. The speedblitz line of argument. Of course this doesn't prove that Superman couldn't win in another fashion and I wasn't trying to prove that, but blitzing wise, SS is solidly faster and has demonstrated it.

I can't find the post, but Fangirl asked about Surfer showing strength in the 1 trillion ton range. I certainly don't have that. However...an enraged Hulk did lift a 150 billion ton mountain range. And when faced with a two-fisted overhand strike from that same enraged Hulk, Surfer does this:

Looks to have stopped it with his hands pretty easily. And then we have the Planet Hulk storyline, in which the Surfer is severely weakened from landing on Sakaar and cut off from the Power Cosmic. Yet he does this:

Pay attention to the upper two panels. Surfer literally physically overpowers Hulk. Which is more than Juggernaut could do in the World War Hulk arc. So as we see, Norrin should be able to lift well in excess of 150 billion tons, without amping.

Superman flew DS from The Earth to the source wall at the end of the universe in like a second or so. That is far far faster than anything you've posted.
Superman must've triggered Darkseid's; it even says B00M on-panel and looks just like the Tube DS made a few pages earlier.
Originally posted by Enyalusyou do know that hulk more recently pulled tectonic plates together, they happen to way much more than a mountain range. mountains, oceans, and all other things above the planet's crust were pulled by each of hulk's hands while submerged in saakar's molten mantle.

Darkseid doesn't use a boom tube. He does it under his own power.
