Shared feat thus invalid.

You better not ever bring up Odin destroying any galaxies then. Nor Tyrant or Galactus. They all shared those feats.

Actually, you argue against your self. Back Then, Superman could still lift trillions of tons. So if with his fight power, he barely, BARELY, pulls or pushes that base, then how does that even equal a tenth of his over all lifting power? It doesn't. Using his flight power as a crutch for his lifting feats goes out the window when using common sense.

First of all, I'd like to see "Trillion Ton" feat of pure strength from back then. What were his major feats of strength that weren't flight aided at the time?

Second of all, how much did that alien base weigh since you seem to know for certain that it was nowhere near his max lifting strength for the period?

When do I bring that up.....seriously. Surfer wins this hands down.

Oh and Hulk doesnt need help lifting things like Superman does it seems.

Supers with long hair tossed a moon sized ship with nothing but his arms. Didn't fly. Didn't push it. That has got to be around that same time period. No fight assisted anything. Since he didn't lift the moon or push it, it was all muscle power. Moon sized Ship>>>>>>>>>>>>>Alien base.

What issue was this in?

Here Superman catches and throws a moon sized ship. with nothing but his arms. Flight in no way assist. And one more thing, in your example of superman using his flight to pull the base, he's using momentum. So unless superman is moving, anything he does while flying isn't a flight assisted feat.

Yeah... what's the issue number? Supes himself says that he should've barely been able push it much less throw it, and that leads me to believe that there's some context being ignored.

And yet he did it. How many times has superman not given himself enough credit? He caught and threw a moon sized ship with nothing but his muscles. all in his arms. And that is the same period as the base thing. which shows that if he barely pulled the base, then his flight does not contribute anything signifigant to his lifting power.

What's the issue number so I can check for context? It's a perfectly reasonable request given Supes's on-panel statement in the scan.

Hmmm. It seems that unquantifiable feats and feats have become the norm to prove that supes is stronger than the hulk. Well the hulk does have some of those same kind of feats to his credit

Here hulk creates so much concussive force that he causes cataclysmic upheavals and unimaginable destruction in an infinite number of dimensions.

Here hulk rips the fabric of time itself by punching thru a timestorm which even kangs time machines cud not get thru

I think Hulk is stronger than Superman. His strength feats are amazing.

Man of Steel issue 30, since he doesn't know.

Surfer win on Superman.

Thanks Jun. you're one of the few Supes fanboys( 😛 ) that's still dependable 😎 .

AROUND the same time period sure... but it's after his powers were substantially increased(just look at the three pages prior to the one you posted)...

So no, your scan in no way contradicts or downplays the evidence I posted in where Supes explains that there's something other than strength at work when he lifts something while flying. Thus the Spectre thing(or anything similar to it) is NOT a feat of pure strength for Supes and can be compared with the Hulk's strength feats. If you're going to claim that he's physically stronger than Hulk or Thor(or ANYONE for that matter) you're going to have to stick with feats were he's not flying.

Not to mention the fact that he was flying in space at the time which throws plenty of ambiguity on the feat you posted anyway.

Are you honestly trying to suggest that Thor/Hulk are peers with Supes in physical strength?

Do you really think that so insurmountable a gap separates them?

Sure as long as you're talking about WWH. Maybe not equal, but I don't see any kind of major difference. Of course if you want to bust out some feats that aren't flight aided to try to change my mind I'd be happy to look them over.

Well with the exception of WWH, I do consider Thor a peak herald...in fact I consider him better then SS just given there encounters and how well Thor does agaisnt Thanos. At anyrate, I still havn't seen either thor/hulk move a moon or even a planetoid....and especially a device that dwarfs the solar system in size by comparison.
