No, he(Supes) was unable to lay a finger on him(DS) from what I remember. Different circumstances same basic concept(PIS to a street level hero). Point being, Supes has just as many low showings to his credit that Surfer does. More in all likelihood due to Supes larger number of appearances.

You mean the issue were Superman takes Deathstroke to jail, or the time Superman speedblitzed him, or the time Superman dropped him with heat vision or...?

Not sure, I haven't seen all the encounters between DS and Supes. I just remember Supes rushing in and then completely losing track of him when he pulled some "Spidey like" maneuvers. So whichever book that happened in.

I never said that he didn't eventually. But the initial encounter DEFINATELY made Supes look bad, and my example was in response to a post claiming that kind of thing would never happen.

ok, its understandable that a guy like DS would give Superman 'some' trouble in capturing him

that's in no way comparable to being armlocked by a being that is more than 1 billion times weaker than you are

Eh, it was right after the reboot, weak Superman, and Superman still caught him despite all his flipping around.

I see where you're going and why, but this one really isn't comparable.

How is it not comparable to be unable to catch(or even keep sight of) someone a billion times slower than you are?

Origin was wiped form contiunity. superman was depowered specifically. So anything relating to his powers would also be out of the window.
