Anywho, I've given some thought to this whole Silver Surfer character and how he relates to, IN MY EYES, the be all end all to superheroes, Superman.

Surfer's powers are too incomprehensible. Come on! Someone the size of a MICROBE on a cosmic scale has the ability to ASBORB SUNS?? Oh, please! And where is all the energy going to go? How can something SO SMALL contain something so big? This is PIS on a GALACTIC scale.

Superman is at the TOP of the Superhero food chain. He is there because he is Superman. His combination of speed, strength, toughness, whatever cannot be matched by some surfboard riding clown. He is called SUPERMAN because of these attributes, and no one, or thing, can trump him (other than God).

Silver Surfer's a sham and would LOSE to the Man of Steel!!

Surfer will take this 10/10 without exploiting any weaknesses..he's faster..more durable..more powerful..far more versatile..and maybe just as strong..

Then comprehend that he demonstraites - on panel - cosmic feats and abilities that would give him a big edge against Superman. He has the power cosmic. You don't need to understand it.
