As much as I want Superman to win this fight, I honestly can't see it happening for a majority (unless Surfer jobs a little in each fight). If Surfer is fighting to the best of his abilities then he can apply Superman's weakness (red solar radiation) and win a majority.
But make no mistake, if Surfer goofs up then Superman will ko him nice and clean.
Superman does have the intangibility option (to help defend against Red solar radiation blasts). So this might make the fight even again or in Superman's favor.

Surfer also has Intangibility, so the odds return to Surfer.
And forget Red solar radiation blasts, Surfer could just turn the Sun Red, and drain Supes of all power left in him.

Of course none of this would work against Thor 💃

But they're already peers. So once weakness exploitation starts being used Superman's chances go down and down.
And Surfer would do it. He's the kind of guy who has in the past just drained Hulk of all his Gamma energy.
Maybe it's not really fair, but then maybe it's just the advnantages of being so versatile in his power set. And preferring options like that over more fighting.

Superman still resisted being drained by it.
So yeah, Superman is going to do just fine against energy draining when you consider how he constantly gets powered by sun.
