The cosmic awareness is how he knows Gladiator's weakness. Surfer can see energy signatures (like Supes biomatrix), and he can simply emit a pulse of an energy/radiation that would disrupt it (similar to an EMP). He wouldn't even need to drain Supes.

it's not a matter of if SS could beat Supes if a matter of what methods he'd use.

the name i chose is because supes is my second favorite after silver surfer. I believe that ss has the power to defeat the man of steel, but it will not be easy. i think the only way for him to do this is by absorbing the solar energy from supes. but as for the power cosmic causing problems for supes i don't believe that blasting supes with essentially energy blasts will cause that much of a problem. But one thing has been eating at me if thor or the hulk can punch surfer of his board then i can pretty much assume that supes can and if they are fast enough to do this and supes speed is much greater than both thor and hulk then supes can do the same. but ss in the end should be able to pull it off.

Cable broke the Surfers "indestructible" board...which is made of the same material Surfer is.

Unless "Godlike" cable can move planets, supes is strong enough to break surfer in 2.

I wonder if Superman could break Surfers neck?

Doesn't matter. He doesn't fight people of Surfer's calibur often. Surfer would destroy Superman in the first nanosecond of this fight, and everyone knows it. The only people that are still arguing on Superman's behalf are the hardcore DC fanboys. There are so many ways for the Silver Surfer to wipe the floor with Superman, it isn't funny.

and whiner Norrin haas never fought anyone of Kals calibur. There are so many ways for Supes to win. lol Surfer Fanboy. 😄

Actually, he's fought people of much, much higher calibur than Superman.
