I've been participating in this thread form over a month. I know exactly what has been said. It's depressing when people make posts like the one you did previously. DC fanboys, (such as yourself,) should come to realize that on occasion, their favorite characters can lose.

even though ss can absorb the energy from a person, in the case for supes solar energy, is it possible that he might not be able to do so because of his force field that surrounds his body. We don't know how the power cosmic will do against the skin tight force field that supes have. what if ss has to physically touch supes to take away his energy like the parasite does then supes can knock the hell out of silver surfer because Thor has many times and no one can dispute that Thor and supes are at least equal in strength
Can someone please explain what the power cosmic is actually, it has been a while since i read a surfer comic(go figure he is my favorite) it is not magic so we know that. so what is it. I just trying to figure out if surfer power cosmic is equal to darksides omega beams which erases beings from existence and supes handle those.

And yes, cosmic blasts would hurt Superman. A blast from the Surfer destroyed a planet without actually being directed at said planet. Superman got beat up plenty by Doomsday, don't think DD can blow up a planet with a punch.
You're all assuming that Superman would KO Surfer with one hit too. At the very least, it would take a large amount of constant pounding, if Surfer cannot simply heal any damage via manipulating his own matter.
And no one has provided any ways for Supes to win besides punches. Surfer has many, some of them not even debatable anymore. (radiation, mostly)
And for those who accuse me of anti-DC sentiments... Batman. Simply, Batman.

That blast that allegedly destroyed a plant was the combination of Morg and Surfers powers overloarding. If the "planet" 😆 was blown up what where they standing on? 😆
Surfer was kocked out by a mermaid one time and I assume Superman hits harder than her. Everybody says that nobody can hit Surfer and I showed plenty of example from my bag of tricks and I can get alot more if I have to to prove that Surfer has been hit by much slower enemies.
I can show examples of Superman overcoming red sunlight and kryptonite enemies if I have too also.
Once again I say Surfer has a much better chance of winning that Superman does. But it will be not at easy as some think.
