Why is it weird? There are plenty of differences between standard and energy form Superman.

No it isn't. They were physically different, and had differences in their powersets. That's enough to make them different, especially considering how we make distinctions for far less with certain characters.

And why the phuck would anybody try to prove Superman can go intangible against Surfer? Superman is the being who can no sell attacks from sentient universes.

And beat them down in one page. Not just survive like surfer and puny heralds do, outright no sell. His high end feats are downright crazy.

OP did not specify which Superman he was talking about. Also Supes has faster feats than Blue Superman did, so its understandable to compare speed feats to a slower version if there is a scan. I agree is weird that Supermans lower feats from a slower version cannot be used.

Find some Superman speed fts instead of using Blue Superman fts. They are different in every category and a statement saying Superman is faster than ever is just that, a statement with no proof. Blue Superman was faster imo, much faster to the point of embarrassing Flash in speed. Doesn't matter since Superman and Blue Superman are different characters.
