Heat does nothing to Surfer. Nothing. And Surfer could probably absorb it anyways or turn his heat vision to candy.

Superman can blitz characters 1200 miles in nanoseconds and encase them in diamonds before they can even react. Characters who can easily interact in faster than nanosecond level speed. Not surfer "I can't waste a nanosecond", literally stepping between nanosecond.

Gog was so fast that Rip Hunter stepping between nanosecond wasn't able to sneak up on him.

So,no superman is not just a little bit faster than surfer.

He is magnitudes faster than him to the point he can casually blitz him.

The problem is Thor has Superman level strength with a plot device magic hammer on top of it. People need to take the hammer into consideration when comparing the two characters.

But just to be clear, was Surfer KO'ed as a result of that attack? Because all the scan shows is Thor hitting him hard enough to send him flying into the planet below. He definitely appears to have a look of pain on his face.
