Actually, I remember a very old crossover where-in Batman stomped hulk in hand to hand combat. I believe it was also put into one of the "ultimate crossover" compendium dealys.
I thought it was pretty funny.
About Captain Marvel knocking out Superman in two punches:
If you are referring to JLA 29, then you also need to count the events in JLA 28. In JLA 28 page 15, Captain Marvel (Billy Batson) went to the Rock of Eternity and soaked his hands in magic.
Then in JLA 29 pages 13, 14, and 15, he grabs Superman's shoulder and punches him and then while Superman was stunned he punches him again.
Right after he does this:
HOURMAN: Not many people can do that.
CAPTAIN MARVEL: I got lucky. And he's vulnerable to magic. Holy moley, I feel low, but if something goes wrong in the Fifth Dimension, the Earth's going to need Superman much more than it needs me.

Indeed he blindsided him totally🙁 poor show Captain 🙁
The man is totally lacking the arrogant areas.
Would any other, lucky or not after knocking - Superman out - saying what Marvel did?
Heck no. They would all joke how Superman was streeth level compared with them. And go being the hero because the jumbo was sleeping.
Marvel needs to pay more attention to the Gods teachings on how to be arrogant with style.

this website has an interview with Dan Jurgens he said thor can beat supes which i believe is crap but he had silver surfer losing to supes 99 out of 100 times
RC: Okay . . . let’s talk about the Web. There was a rumor on the Internet that you hate Grant Morrison and can’t stand his work. Is this true?
DAN JURGENS: Oh, God . . . no. There is absolutely no truth to that at all. I’m a huge fan of his!
I don’t go to [Web] boards. I don’t spend time with that stuff at all.
RC: You used to, back in the days of the old AOL/DC Comics boards. I remember one of the earliest times I came across you was when a fan asked your opinion on who would win in a fight between Superman and the Silver Surfer-and you said, "Superman . . . 99 out of 100 times; Surfer . . . once, because I’m being generous." The fan went nuts over that!
this is the link check it out

again just a comic writers opinion on who will win

DAN JURGENS: Right. And at that time, when DC had the AOL boards set up . . . there was an innocence that was there [but] that has gone now and has been replaced by a mean spiritedness, sense of aggression and cynicism that I just don’t have time for.
At that time, too, we were encouraged as creators to have our own message boards on DC’s official AOL site, which I always was willing to do. I was always willing to answer those types of questions; later, as it became more and more, "You suck! Why did you do this?" . . . and those were the nicer guys . . . I just didn’t have time for it.
