Out of context like that it kind of tarnishes that nice post...
It was a nice compromise type post that was a welcome change from Dynamic One saying things that were the same as the original post of this thread.

If you are refering to FOTN, then I would agree with you. Im talking about what BlueMighty was saying. I think he is merely trying to say that you should try to understand why people think the way they do.
Lets put it this way you've seen American History X right? I dont agree with what that white guy did but the whole point of the movie was to understand what made him like that in the first place. Even if you dont agree with why people behave at least try to understand why they do it, it helps to deal with the problem better.
That doesnt mean that if a black person calls you a racist name or trys to beat you up you should take it. Of course not, but understand how things have got this way in the first place.
