No one is overrating Sephiroth. We have characters in FFVII with incredible power(Chaos, Nero, Omega, etc), and some of them(Minerva, Omega) have the power of a planet and the Lifestream(a big plot-device). Kitase and Nomura stated that these characters cannot be more powerful than him.

You are overrating him. Whatever a weaker character can do so can Sephiroth! That's not overrating? Oh and where in Advent Children does it say that the dark clouds is the lifestream? The script never says anything about that being the lifestream.

He never said it was the Lifestream. He said it was "something" of a negative Lifestream that actually was Spirit Energy of those who died with Geostigma. Spirit Energy of those who died with Geostigma is not the Lifestream.

You know like how Sephiroth controlled Cloud in FF7 and his clones; it was all because of the Jenova cells.

Learn to read and comprehend what i typed . Am i argueing that he has any spells? Im not argueing for either side.

All i did was merely corrected your flawed logic off "he doesnt demonstrate spells = he does not have any"

Dark Samus didn't shoot the planet. That was a last ditch effort to kill Samus by whipping out the entire planet Phaaze thus destroying all Phazon in the universe as a result.

Flawed logic? Kadaj became Sephiroth thus Sephiroth took whatever materia Kadaj had. When Kadaj was dying we see him without materia and yet we can clearly see Loz and Yazoo with materia in their arms.

2. Ummmm...yeah, they did. They said that because everyone's powers come from the lightstream, Seph can do them all better cause he is stronger, which is utter bullshit. Is Seph the strongest in FFVII? Yes. Can he do anything any other character in FFVII can do better? Hell no.

Sephiroth is (in my opinion) a Low Herald to high-meta level of power.

Simply because when you start to stack his abilties and skills it begins to get a bit much for Seph to be walking amid Spiderman and co.

In the FFVII world, ALL who die becomes part of the lifestream, its stated numorous times in the game, those who die by Geostigma also become part of the lifestream, however they become the negative lifestream which is under sephiroth control, this negative lifestream eventually takes over all of the lifestream corroding it.

Sephiroth isn't on Cloud's level; he's above Cloud but the thing is you claim he's way stronger then he truly is. If he was as strong as YOU say he is he would have been able to counter Cloud's omnislash with ease but he was powerless to do so.
