Friday the 13th (2009)

Yep, I've only seen part 1 & 2, JGTH, JX, FVJ, & the reboot. I have yet to see all the others, but the boxset is coming this week so I won't have to wait much longer to see them.

Yes I have

Yep, had all of the films on VHS up to Manhatten, don't have them now. I currently have Jason X, and Freddy Vs Jason on DVD. I don't think I will be buying the collection because I'm not too keen on the series.

Oh I still have Jason Goes To Hell on NTSC VHS, haven't thrown it out because it's the uncut edition, I don't believe this is avaliable in Britain yet.

Jason X and F v J....and part 9, why? Just...just why?

Jason X was a blind buy before it was out here in Britain. Freddy Vs Jason I liked enough to complete my Freddy Kruger DVD collection, and Jason Goes To Hell was a blind buy because it was not out here at all.

I like Jason X, think it's a pretty cool movie. The acting could've been better, but it's pretty good for what it is. FVJ is just plain awesome.

I think Jason X had an ok storyline and coulda done better if the acting hadn't been so terrible, that really ruined it for me tbh

At least with Jason X it had an original story rather then have it set at Crystal Lake for the 16th time.....

Who cares if it's set at Crystal Lake again? The reboot movie was awesome, nonetheless, and I agree with Steve, if the acting had been a bit better, the movie as a whole would've been better received. The actress portraying the android was a bit TOO comic book like, and most of the characters were just plain stupid.

Kane Hodder, Peter Mensah, & Lexa Doig are the top dogs in JX.

It's a masterpiece! seriously, not keen on it like I said but I can't throw it out since it's not avaliable.

If you had meant that then....well I dunno, probably would tried to find out where you live and then tie you to a chair and play part 9 to you over and over again...along with the halloween remake since you loooooved that movie so much

The android pissed me off

She pissed me off a little during the fight scenes because of the bad dialogue but she was pretty cool when she was kicking Jason's ass and NOT talking.

It wasn't bad...it was the dialogue from hell, I mean I wanted Jason to kill her in the worst way possible like...rip out her wires and hang her with them

I know what you mean, I was watching the movie last night with a friend. We both really like the movie, but ultimately agreed that the execution could've been better. I also think it may have been a little too much comedy or jokes in the film. If it's ever tried again with Jason or maybe even Michael, I say just keep it dark, and don't go too comic book-ish with it.

Yeah...wasn't dark enough, I wanted more of an edge to it

You could kind of tell when the kills were coming, and then there were some ridiculous yells which were funny, but took away from the coolness of some of the kills.
