What do you think of Derek Mears compared to the other people who've portrayed Jason?

He did quite well I thought, you?

He was the first person to portray Jason that actually scared me because he's a huge guy, and moved quickly to boot. I think he did a terrific job. I look forward to him returning as I'd like to see how much more he can add to the role, and eventually I want to see how well he does as zombie Jason.

If they go down that path

If they could avoid that path but keep the movies interesting, even more power to them.

If you re-look at the post, you'll notice I said no such thing about NOT wanting them to go down that path. I said that if they chose not to, and can keep the story interesting without him being a zombie, more power to them.
