As for your little celebration statement, why would you be happy to see a negative effect on something, you claim to respect? That's as ridiculous as saying I'll celebrate when I see the twin towers collapse, because I always knew someone would knock them down. Yet at the same time I claim to be sad....wouldn't be very sad if I was celebrating would I?

Superman has tons of strength feats and strength itself does not win a battle. Bottom line is Thanos would thrash superman physically over and over again.

I dont need to find any low showings to bury Darkseid he has enough of them. He is mocked on the other two boards I have been on to an unfair level if you ask me. But on here you have a few posters who are obsessed with pumping up his feats. This I cant have.

Starking I was never impressed with you becuz I have caught you talking about comics for pages to later figure out that you didnt read one page from it instead you saw a few scans and acted as if you knew all about it.

1. All he used on Dominus was Torquasm-Vo. It's one of the main reasons people cite T-Vo was being so powerful.

2. Henshaw had 10 Sin corp rings.

3. And in most of their fights, Darkseid has bitched Supes. And he seems to ***** almost every other top tier no problem. Then again, I guess Thanos loses to utility fog, gets transmuted, gets beat up by black holes, etc.

Then again, Darkseid doesn't have a hack like Starlin retconning any story he doesn't like into a clone. 😉 Darkseid had a few of his bad moments retconned into avatars. But he's got his share of black marks. Thanos on the other hand, he has barely any losses. Mostly thanks to Starlin coming up with the clone plot device.

Thanos losing to utility fog is a damn weird idea but its better to lose some crazy story angle than to continually have problems with the same top tier. Doomsday to me is Darkseids worst loss. I know apokolips now is bad but in hunter and prey Darkseid didnt do anything to retaliate and went down like an utter bich. Tis a shame really.

Please lets not dominate all the threads and turn them into mini Darkseid vs Thanos debates. We both know Thanos is by far the more successful character so just cut it out and accept this please for the sake of the forum.

Also, Starlin ret-conned them because they don't fit Thanos now... not because he lost. Hell, he ret-conned a series where Thanos was a beast (in clone terms) and never lost.

Plus, taking clones into account... Thanos has what; two extra losses?

I find it very odd how you criticize peoples debating styles, when you have some of the most flawed logic, seen by man. You could be right about the outcome of a match, but the way you argue and counter points, your incapable of convincing the most idiotic posters imaginable.

For the record, no actual loss of Darkseid has ever been retconned into being an avatar. We've seen avatars two, maybe 3 times. That is it.
