I'd say he is wrong. However, I do agree that many religions come from one. That is that many religions other than Judaism/Christianity are a corruption of faith that occurred in the Garden and that people had strayed even by the seventh generation from Adam.
Tell that to Constantinople.

greek relegion does have a concept of infinite. the life tree of yydrassil, ragnarok etc. plus greek thought and philosophy delves into infinity n such.
Yes and from what I can see this is basicaly what all religon seems to boil down to. Different religons have different ways of describing the infinite and the fundies try to limit it.
^ i wudnt really say thats the case. the fundamentals of relegion are layed down by more than one person or force generally. sum of them may be philosophers and mystics and other may be politicians or powerhungry people. reguardless, a small or great part of relegion will always deal with worldly desires, and the expression of high headedness, cruelty, frustrations etc etc. the sole purpose of most relegions infact may not be understanding infinite but may be things quite trivial like the expression of fear, or a superiority complex or retaining a coeherent identity or bringing uniformity in society as people seem to hate diversity when its close to them.
