Oh yeah, I agree, so are of course pimps, gang members, mobsters, hookers, drug dealers, etc.
Good that we agree on that though.

If the cop hadn't chosen to stop him he wouldn't have gotten tased. If the guy had decided to beat the cop hard on the head when he turned his back on him he wouldn't have tased. If a million things had happened he wouldn't have gotten tased. But the action that lastly made it happen, was this **** of a cop pointing the taser at him and shooting it.

No. Do you agree or disagree?
BUT
when he went so far as pointing out the speeding signs and telling the cop what they were gonna do, how it was gonna be handled, he made his bed and forced to lie in it.

I thought it was procedure to tell the driver what speed he was going and why he was getting the ticket. I've been pulled over once for speeding, just got a warning. But the officer told me my exact speed and why I was getting the warning. He just didn't say "Oh, you were going a little fast back there."The guy was stupid to turn his back and start walking back to his car but the cop just tasers him with no warning. Shouldn't be allowed to happen. Then when the other officer arrives he lies about it, if the cop didn't think he was in the wrong, why lie about the whole situation? The driver wasn't "hopping around" he was asking questions, that should have been answered, then gets tasered for it.
Then the guy asks him to read him his rights and the cop refuses to do it.
"Anyone who asks questions to authority, and authority doesn't like it, you will get tazered."

I agree your argument is stupid and trivial. But that's what it is.
Originally posted by Rogue JediNonsense. There is no reason whatsoever that he should be tased. The guy is not at fault. Nothing he did justifies a tasing.

I agree he overreacted, yes, as I have stated several times.do YOU agree that if the guy would have just accepted the ticket and fought it, he would have drove home without being tased?
Do YOU agree that if the guy had gotten out of the car, bend over his car and offered his ass for the cop to repeatedly rape then taking the constitution and holding it in front of his face so the cop can piss on it and him ... he would not have been tased?

Nothing he did justifies a tasing. He acted in such a fashion that it made things worse. He could have prevented it if he chose to do so. I never said it was his fault, all I said is that he could have taken preventative measures against it.

I asked if you thought the cop was justified in using the taser in the given situation, not if "overreacted", because he could have called the guy a "silly ****" etc. etc. etc.
Yeah, most likely that would have happened, but it didn't, he choose to ask questions and he was tasered for it. The former is besides the point though.
I'll ask again. Was the officer justified in using the taser or did he abuse his powers? That is what the thread is basically about.

he was doing more than asking questions, he was trying to tell the cop how to do his job.

I go by bicicle. Train, paying money to get from point a to be. The owner of the building who I pay 400 to every months in order for him to do it. Professors....being paid by my parents tax money and a yearly fee I pay. Also, I am sure you misread my post.

So what, he didn't do anything wrong. He didn't deserve to be tased.
He could have done things against it, but he didn't have to, he is a free person. He doesn't have to assume he gets tased, he doesn't have to take measures not to be tased by a **** that gets paid by his ****ing money in the first place.

Then the cop was clearly in the wrong, and he should be punished accordingly. Why were you defending him earlier then?
